  1. There were lots of flash flooding down in the hill country. Choose your area with that in mind.
  2. Brenda and I moved from west texas- Lubbock to Weatherford 27 years ago. Weatherford has such a huge growth pattern with new homes and no infrastructure enchancements. We selected a place in Mineral Wells, just 18 miles west. Has the largest Walmart that we have ever seen. Alice Walton designed that when she had a ranch here. No crowds- and a great view
  3. covering the pipe runs
  4. come see me, I can fix it
  5. that is correct. if you look at this photo, where the light is on the floor, that is the slide out. I matched that edge to the part of the floor that drops down. and that slide comes in and matches to the floor that is stationary
  6. This Newell is a non-slide coach. The previous photos is of a 2 slide coach. The floor up front drops down and the slide comes in to meet the main floor. Its a marvel in engineering.
  7. it is slow go, but looks great
  8. will be going back with some acacia- next week
  9. I have another Newell here. This one has cork laminate "installed" I say that as this is how they cut against the walls:
  10. we have had a ton of rain while I was doing this coach, plus the pecan trees are sweating all over everything. I believe the owner is going to wash the outside and the entry after he gets to a dry area. That pecan sweat is a mess. I would get new treads and throw that old carpet away on the sides and add wood and new rubber treads with circles instead of lines- easier to keep this photo is in A Newmar- the hinges make it impossible to add wood on the risers, like I usually do
  11. Carl, those are some non-skid pieces that the factory added. They like the marble.
  12. I don't know what the owners are going to do. They pretty much have it in top condition. I have another Newell that arrived yesterday. Someone did a terrible job on the flooring- I'll post photos to show later
  13. cover the box and entry
  14. The wood is acacia. This is in a 2000 Newell 45.9 The last photo in this segment shows where the drop down floor is located. See if you can tell where the seam is.
  15. This is engineered wood adhered with urethane adhesive. Totally dimensionally stable. When its' stuck- its' stuck.
  16. Thanks This is in a Newell. Since we bought a house in Mineral Wells last Dec, I don't have time to redo the floors in our coach- yet
  17. curves and angles, oh my
