  1. Yes, Bruce, the mirrors were adhered with construction adhesive. Some manufacturers use a foam sticky tape so if the walls flex, they won't crack. The glass tile is made by Maniscalco from Australia and can't be found in the box stores
  2. If your coach has too many mirrors, try this:
  3. Maybe you got a little bit more zip from your engine with clean filters.
  4. I stayed in an Alfa a few years ago while in California. I believe this unit had the tallest ceiling of any coach I have been in. There was so much storage that it would be a full timers dream. The basement air- with the air coming up from the floor, although quiet, was pretty dismal cooling the coach. I would have added a couple of roof airs in place of the ceiling vents, if it was mine.
  5. Livingston, Mt is just north of the north entrance on I-90. I stay at the fairgrounds there. many campgrounds going south on 89 to Gardner
  6. Sure you can go over it- do some prep work, first.
  7. With the new refurbished unit, the difference in how everything works is like night and day. A good $120 invested.
  8. If you drive with a window open, the negative pressure from inside your coach will bring in exhaust. Ernie- posting from Weatherford- just north of Andy in Granbury
  9. You may have an engine exhaust leak. Check the engine access in the bedroom. If the seams have discoloration, that is where your soot may becoming from.

I believe I'm the only one doing this
  11. We are fortunate to have all the blueprints for all systems in my coach.
  12. Perhaps a smaller unit that the wife can feel comfortable driving. or- a driving school.
  13. I have an auxiliary air compressor for chassis, toilet, and levelling
  14. I bought the big rig campground book.
  15. Is it any better then the free one I get from State Farm? I have not seen one of these, yet.
  16. May and Sept- good months to stay away from Fla.
  17. To do that- removing the whole business is not necessary. Probably the reason for curl, is that it was never rolled after installation. Thus dirt has migrated under the edge of that tile. I would do this procedure: have at the ready: hair dryer, vacuum cleaner with crevice tool, flat blade screw driver, some contact cement, and small artist brush- that you can throw away. With the hair dryer- heat the tile till you can pry it up with screwdriver. Vacuum under that. Apply contact cement to tile and floor. Let it dry. You can use the hair dryer on low. Touch the tile- if no contact transfers to your finger you are ready to install. Heat the tile on high so that the curl that incurred when you pried it will slowly fall down and with the flat blade screw driver, press the edges down. put some weight on it and leave it till it cools. enjoy
  18. Trash that piece of junk- get a residential- if you don't dry camp. No recalls needed
  19. replace them with engineered wood. won't crack
  20. Dye lot and style would be like finding a needle in the haystack.
  21. Like Brett mentioned- thru bolts with large washers, also
  22. I wish that was my wanderlodge that was there. Too dang hot here in Texas
