I believe those planks will work, as they are usually 3 feet in length and will cover the whole tracking length of slide.

You don't have to remove any slideouts when redoing the floors. That is just a big cash cow for the dealer. I know, I install floors in these coaches all the time. Instead of using those high priced slide slickers, go to a regular retail flooring store and get 4 pieces of luxury vinyl planks. Principal is the same- and you don't have to spend a bundle.

since this is in west Texas- its' all level-flat!

Need Help With Car Hauler Math Equation
erniee replied to jonrjen's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I ordered an enclosed Haulmark trailer and had the tongue extended to close to 5 feet. Never had a problem. The real deal is to aim your eyes high forward and plan your turns. Think big- like an 18 wheeler -
If you are in the north side of Yellowstone, Livingston has the fairgrounds for 15 bucks a nite

We were looking at the amp draw on a unit just installed on my coach. At full cold- draws the 11 amps, even with the heater. At fan mode- just below 5- your thermostat doesn't seem to be wanting your compressor to engage.

When you go back with hard surface, it will be less in height then your carpet and pad. just keep it clean before you bring the slide in.

Karndean is a quality product. Do your rollers impact the main floor? What coach do you have?

I live in Weatherford and do inspections. I have been involved with coaches since buying my first in 1975.

Jack- your signature doesn't say what year your coach is. Your friend got taken. You don't have to replace rollers, take out slides to do flooring. That notion is a cash cow for the dealers. There are a few kinds of slides and how they articulate. One type- has arms under the floor and nothing from the slide touches the floor. There are rollers that are embedded in the floor and the slide glides over them. Then there are slides that have rollers on the slide and roll over the floor. Then there are Teflon slide pieces that impact the floor. Then- there is a combination of all the above. WHEW

How Does Allure Flooring Hold Up To The Heat In Florida

Vinyl planks- glue them with manufacturers recommendation adhesive- not peel and stick. I use Mannington Adura.
