As mentioned, if you don't care about HD on the other TV(s) you can buy an RF modulator and connect that to the Red/White/Yellow outputs on that receiver and use the coax output from the modulator to send the signal to the other TV(s). If you want HD on more than one TV the easiest way to do this is to put a receiver at each TV and run a coax from the antenna to each receiver. That does mean you need a dedicated line to each receiver but that should also be easier than the other options.

Be aware that CA does have a 65' max length limit for an RV so at 42' for the RV you need to add the length of the toad and tow bar to ensure you do not exceed the limit. It is a moving violation with points and $$. The CRV should not create any kind of an issue but if you replace that at a later date you just need to pay attention.

Actually, the area surrounding Beaudry is quite bad. I love the park but it's not safe outside those walls at night. Lots of break-ins have happened to RV's while in the park and they have even had people break through the cinderblock walls to gain access. They do a good job of trying to keep it as safe as possible but there's no way to keep everyone out all of the time and "stuff" happens. Don't get me wrong. Anytime I stayed in that area I stayed at Beaudry (for an entire month once) but that doesn't mean I wasn't cautious and I didn't leave anything out that I might be concerned could grow legs.

Strange that Lazy Days is fully capable of running an RV park in FL but does not have any interest in running an RV park in Tucson. I know the Tucson location is in a bad area and distracts many RVers from wanting to stay there but I can't figure out why they would run one but not the other.

As long as you keep the furnace running during the trip it will provide plenty of heat to the basement so I don't see where there would be any difference whether you were driving or you were parked.

You have gotten advice that it's better to purchase products from companies no longer in existence. That might be OK but I can assure you that Tiffin is NOT one of these companies and Bob Tiffin is still there and still working very hard for his customers. If you are a DirecTV customer then the dip switches would be set all up with 8 down. Dish 4,7,8 down. If you do not have an owners manual you can find the information here: http://www.winegard.com/minimax/index.php There is also an Eastern Arc option as well as hybrid mode depending upon your location and your needs.

When you remove the dome of your Winegard antenna you will see a silver electronics box. There is a label on top that shows you which switches to set for which service and you will find the tiny dip switches on the side of that box. The DirecTV setting is switch 8 down and all others up. For Dish you change that to 4, 7, 8 down. You can check with the local RV parks as they usually know who the local RV friendly installers are.

Unless the other receivers are setup for RF. I think that's why he wanted to know if the H25 would get a unique RF signal.

Ray, It's not a weird post so don't give that poster a second thought. It's nice to be able to air your frustration and it can also help others prevent making similar mistakes. Keep posting and let us know if things get better. It doesn't sound like it can get too much worse!

Most water pressure regulators will also restrict the flow rate. I think this is what you are experiencing since you are happy with the water flow from your pumps but not from shore connection running through the regulator. I have found the same thing so I use the regulator to fill my tanks and use my pumps to take a shower! However, there are some better pressure regulators that do not restrict the flow as much. The most popular units are made by Watts and allow you to connect this in your system and get both the correct pressure plus good water flow.

1. B-band's. I know I do NOT need one on the H25 receiver, but do I need them on the 2 HR20 DVR's? Since my antenna is a Single Wire Multiswitch, I think not. A) Never use a B-Band with SWM. You also only run one cable to any receiver even if it's a DVR. 2. My sticks & bricks is already a SWM Slimline (antenna) system with H25's & HR24's. Can I take the 3 receivers that are destined for the motorhome, install/hookup in the house system to make all the necessary settings, i.e., SWM settings, antenna settings (any suggested other settings)? Have to at least do it for the HR20-700 to activate the the new access card (tomorrow's job). A) Yes, the home SWM antenna is the exact same thing as the SWM Trav'ler. Once connected and you go into the receiver setup menu the receiver(s) will detect the SWM and should automatically set themselves up. 3. The H25 in the motorhome bedroom. The "Line of IR Sight" will be blocked because of the TV size. That will nessitate setting the H25 & Remote for Radio Frequency (RF). I bought an H25 wall mount for the receiver and an H25 antenna donegal. Can that remote be set up to ONLY to operate the bedroom H25 via RF without affecting either HR20? I "believe" that you can set the RF to control the one particual receiver but I have never had to do one that way so I am really not sure. I just trained Eric's in Sequim so they should be able to do the necessary setup and wiring. Let me know how it goes.

If you want to save some money and stay outside Disney ($$$$$$) you might also look at Tropical Palms. It's nearby and has plenty of room or any RV and toad. Time of year is critical when you are making reservations. Prime time Winter requires more lead time.

By the way, if you have a receipt that shows you bought an SK-SWM3 you may have some recourse with Amazon if that is not what you received. You could send me some pictures at the e-mail address listed in my profile and I can verify what kind of antenna you have installed. Since you say the inside controller was not changed but did work initially, it would have to be a SK-3005 as the two controllers are not interchangable.

If you can get the kid to go back up again, there is a cover plate with 4 screws directly above where the coax connections meet at the roof. Unscrew these and lift the plate and gasket off. Reach inside for the center black control wire and GENTLY pull until you see where there is a quick connect. Disconnect and reconnect this coupler a couple of times as well and if you have some, apply a small dab of di-electric grease in the fitting before final reconnection. Give it another try. By the way, I am assuming you are still getting a message that says "No Antenna communication". If you are getting any other message, do not do the above procedure and let me know what error message you are seeing.

Boy it sure sounds bad based upon this information. If you can get on the roof you should have 1 single LNB housing (the SWm3 LNB) and it will have a square green label in the bottom right corner. There will also be only one coax that connects to the top of the antenna base. There should be 3 ports on top. One will have a coax cable connected and the other 2 ports will be capped. At the very base of the antenna there should be only 3 outputs available and only one coax leaving the base which must be connected to port C the same port used at the top of the base. The old style Trav'ler would have had 4 connection ports and all ports could have been used. You cannot simply swap out the LNB and convert an old Trav'ler to a new Trav'ler. Instead you add a SWM8 kit to convert the old to the new. Let me know more.

Reach behind the controller in your coach and unplug the power cord. Now, unplug and replug the control cable with the 6 pins do this twice, in and out. Plug it all together again and push and hold the power button until it says power on. The antenna should go up. Once you are up and pointed, let me know and we can go a bit further. If they did install a new SWM Trav'ler they would also have put in a new controller inside as the 3005 and SWM controller are not the same and not compatible but they look identical.

There are very, very few RV parks around the Country that just such aggressive segregation and trust me, if they don't want anything other than class A visitors, it's not a campground you want to visit anyway! I own a class A and I will not stay at these parks either. Hopefully, you will not encounter any either. How far do you like to drive each day? Do you have any special interests?

Yes, in almost all cases it is safe to stay at a Wal-Mart overnight. Overnight is key as this is not a campground but rather a place to stop when you cannot reach your destination that day. I use a program called RV Parky to check before arriving whether overnight parking is allowed and it has been very accurate. If there is roaming security I double check with them. If not, I do not bother the management (others will disagree). Yes, generators are acceptable for use at either of those locations, just try to get as out of the way as possible and don't cuddle up beside another RVer is you plan to run your genset.
