  1. Welcome to the forum Mack. Are you now in a colder climate? It is possible that your intake grid heater is cycling on and off to adjust for the colder climate. It is also possible that the timer is failing. Doubt seriously that you have a failing alternator
  2. Just a thought here. I used to keep my hot spot on 24/7. I once got into an area where there was marginal signal. I was advised to power down the spot, wait a minute or two and power back up. Doing so restored a good signal. I asked a techie friend and he explained how all this stuff works and why you should power down every once in awhile. All Greek to me but it worked
  3. Welcome to the forum The extended warranty from a dealer is a cash cow for them, I do not recommend. As far as roadside assistance, why not take a look at what is offered with FMCA?
  4. In my travels, I have found that cell service is like real estate. It's location, location, location
  5. Welcome to FMCA and the forum. Like Ross said, look into finding a chapter in your area and become involved. There is where the fun is plus the area rally's and international conventions are a wealth of information. If you need any help, feel free to reach out here on the forum or on the FMCA website
  6. Ray, please post if you get a reply from the OP., else this post might go away. Hopefully the OP figured out the problem
  7. Welcome to the forum. Different chassis manufacturers have different criteria for maintenance. Yours being a Roadmaster chassis, I suggest finding a Monaco forum and pose the question there. If you haven't had any service in 60K miles, you are way over due. Most are in the 15K range but in my case, the driveline should be lubed every 5K miles.
  8. Cummins is very proud of their labor rates, parts, and diagnostics. I suggest finding a Cat shop and an independent for second and third opinions.
  9. Welcome to the forum Keith. Good luck with your purchase.
  10. Welcome to the forum Mikey. Good looking rig.
  11. Welcome to the forum Alex. I am a west coast guy so I really can't help you. Good luck with your search.
  12. Welcome to the forum and sorry for your misfortune.
  13. One thing to be concerned with is insurance coverage while the unit is setting on a consignment lot. Some companies will not insure an rv while it is under consignment
  14. From the National Secretary, Kathie Balogh March 3, 2023 TO: Governing Board Members On March 2, 2023, the ballots for the Special Election of the National Vice President – South Central Area were tabulated by FMCA’s certified public accounting firm, and the numerical results are as follows: SOUTH CENTRAL AREA Dianna Huff, F363612 – 21 votes out of 28 possible, with no dissenting votes. Congratulations Dianna
  15. Welcome to the forum John. How many coaches are there?
  16. Welcome to the forum Please supply a little more info such as manufacturer of the coach, etc. It will aid in helping trouble shoot your problem.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Gel cell is old technology and not worth the money. Either go with a good brand wet cell such as the Trojan T105s or do some research on AGMs. My go to brand of AGM is the LifeLine brand
  18. Your bellcrank could be loose and that could cause sloppy steering. Might want to consider an inspection of that and if the rubber bushings are bad, replace it with one of these. Super Steer Bellcrank. It has bearings and not rubber bushings
  19. AGMs are a good swap out for wet cells. What you have to look at is the settings of your charger and those depend on the battery you select. The LifeLine AGM has a different charging profile than that of others. It isn't much but is still different. If you have a Magnum inverter/charger, there will be two profiles listed for the AGMs
  20. Welcome to the forum Mike. Hopefully someone will come along with a solution for you.

    Tires Opinion

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully Tireman will come on and give some advise
  22. This is an old thread. Anyone wanting to post new info, please open a new thread. This one is now closed
  23. It is best to look in the FMCA website in the Rocky Mountain Area at the chapters there. You can also find contact info for the senior vice president of the area, Connie Jones. The contact info shown for the High Planes Driters is: CONTACT INFORMATION JOHN KILBURN 9702668057 john@johnkilburn.com Not a problem but everyone must understand that the address listed for the chapter doesn't necessary mean the chapter is actually located there. The contact info could be for either the secretary or the president, wherever their address is.
  24. FYI, Jamie is no longer the vice president of the Rocky Mountain Area. He resigned a couple of weeks ago.
