  1. To receive digital only log into the FMCA website. Go to menu,my account, profile, select my profile. Scroll to the bottom and check the box receive digital magazine only
  2. Not really an update but a chart comparing plans can be found here Roadside Assistance
  3. Welcome to the forum, nice looking bus, wild graphics.
  4. Welcome to the forum. I haven't traveled that route but as a suggestion, I would check the route out on Google Earth. You can get a pretty good idea of the road from it to aid your decision. That's what I do when going into uncharted territory. We have a road atlas where we highlight the roads we have been on and those that we would never drive again, we put a red X on it. Sounds like a fun trip
  5. My only negative thing to add is do not get a GC with the air suspension. Not from a towing standpoint but from a maintenance point. If the air system goes bonkers, it is an expensive fix
  6. Welcome to the forum. I don't tow a '23 but do tow a '13 which is claimed to have the death wobble. In 50K miles, I have never had the wobble and my GC is bone stock
  7. Thanks for the info. I'm not planning on getting rid of the coach at this time but it boggles my mind as to the reason they won't cover a unit.
  8. Welcome to the forum. l am surprised that NIRV doesn't have a recommendation for a company that offers consignment insurance.
  9. Welcome to the forum. If you give a little information about your coach such as make and model, someone might be able to help

    New tires

I have run Michelins for the past 10 years or so with zero sidewall cracking but I think this is my last set, they are just to expensive now. I did have a set of Goodyear G670s and that was the worst tire I have ever had, never again Goodyears. My next set will be either the Toyo or Continental. The FMCA program has the Continentals about 100 bucks cheaper than the Goodyears so you might want to take a look. Have a friend that runs Continentals and is happy with them
  11. Welcome to the forum Amy. I have never driven that road but I'm someone here has and can give you some info
  12. Here is a listing of licensed vendors of the Elks. Seeing as how you want to use the Elks logo, I would use one of these. Licensed Vendors
  13. Have the jacks always acted this way? If so, I would suspect under sized wiring to the pump motor. Take a volt meter and watch the voltage at the batteries while someone lowers the jacks. How much does the voltage drop?
  14. In the case of using the FMCA site, yup. I find my size tires and model I'm interested in by using the truck section.
  15. Ray, I suggest you contact the membership department. They can look and see what you have opted out of and get you set up to receive the hard copy magazine. Call FMCA at 513-474-3622 and ask to be transferred to the membership department. This is the easiest way to handle it rather than search all over the website
  16. Ray, you don't pay extra, just your annual dues. Where did you get that now you have to pay extra?
  17. Turn the breaker off. Remove connections at the element. Using an ohm meter, measure the resistance of the element. If you read zero, the element is open meaning it is shot. For a 1400 watt element, you should see 10 ohms or a little more
  18. Ray, lets try this: From main page select "menu". Then select "profile" then "my member profile". Scroll to the bottom to the "about me" section. At the bottom, on the right side is a spot where it says "receive digital magazine magazine only". You get the choice of picking yes or no. In my profile both yes and no are not checked and I do receive the magazine and digital editions. Make sure you have addresses where ask for If this doesn't fix it, then it is time to call 911 Pamela
  19. Mark, Turn off the circuit breaker for the water heater, then remove the wires from the heating element. Using an ohm meter measure the resistance of the element. If you have a 1400 watt element, the resistance should be about 10 ohms. I don't remember if there is a circuit breaker under the cover housing the relay
  20. Ray, I logged in and went to the magazine and then had to log in again to read it. Have you tried logging in again after clicking on the magazine?
  21. I don't understand why you don't have hot water if you have 110v at the element. To get 110 there the relay has to be activated. Attached is some info from a guy that is a water heater guru on another forum, hope it helps.
  22. I added a link to the company website in case anyone is curious. https://www.safetytowingsystems.com/the-automated-safety-hitch/professional-automated-safety-hitch-system/
  23. Welcome to the forum, nice looking rig. Would the location be around Q by chance? The ground looks familiar
