Ernie, I am a recent "EB has been" having been the area vice president of the Northwest Area from 2018 -2022. I have been a governing board member since 2007, past member of the nominating committee, past member of the audit committee, past member of the audit committee, past member of the risk management committee, current member of the constitution & bylaws committee. Does any of this count?

Bill, Every executive board member's contact info is listed in the magazine both phone number and email address. There is also a "contact us" section with phone numbers and email addresses.
  3. Before cutting any wiring, I would take a closer look and see if there is an easier way to remove the heater. For sure cut the tie wrap and see how much slack that gives you. There has to be way to get the heater out without destroying /cutting the current wiring.

There has been a lot of new members sign on to the forum but haven't posted anything. I am going to talk to Larry and see if we can add an "introduction" forum so that the new guys can introduce themselves, maybe telling us what kind of coach, their interests are, etc. Any other ideas that could be considered?
  5. If you have some slack in the cables, that is an easy repair. By the way you are holding the ends, it doesn't look like there is much to play with. You only need the center conductor and the copper braid, the foil is for protection only. If you have never repaired rv cable before, watch some uTube videos for a "how to". Anytime you put connectors in an rf cable, you will experience some signal loss.If possible, it would be best to run a single piece of new cable
  6. In looking at the board closeup, I see a couple of problem areas. There are a couple of solder pads, one above and one below the black 40 amp fuse that appear to have been heated enough to melt the solder. I don't see any screws that mount the board but see what looks like a clamp at the bottom and looks like it is a push type so that the board can be moved. It looks like there is enough slack in the wires that if the board can be released, it could swing to the right. That way it might be possible to get a look at the back of the board and go from there. The numbers on the board don't tell much so finding a replacement might be hard if not impossible. Maybe the coach manufacturer could be a source depending on its age. If you are going to attempt to move the board, make sure all power is secured for safety
  7. Welcome to the forum Jason. I moved your post here for better exposure Don
  8. Post up a picture of the board, someone here might be able to help find one or give a solution
  9. Rashell will not have a listing of seminars and vendors, she is registration only. Here is a link to the program book with the info requested Program Book
  10. Welcome to the forum. I would remove all power and then take a serious look at the fuse holder. If the wiring is hidden behind it, get it so you can look at it. By you moving the fuse and restoring power, gives the indication of a bad fuse socket or loose wiring
  11. First thing I would do is call again so you can talk to a different agent.
  12. I received this from Pamela Kay, Director of Communications and Publishing. "We moved it to the February issue this year to give more time for manufacturers to release information for the new models. Honestly, even with an extra month, we still struggled to make contact with company reps, and some don’t have owners manuals posted online for many models. It seems that the automotive industry is still suffering from the issues created by the pandemic. It’s always been challenging to compile this information but even more so in the past few years."
  13. Welcome to the forum. As a solution to your problem, I would contact FMCA at 513-474-3622 and ask to be transferred to Rashell in the events department. She is the events coordinator
  14. That's where I told him to put it.
  15. From one Nam vet to another, welcome to the forum Don
  16. Larry will be posting info shortly
  17. I found an owners manual on line HERE. On page 429 it explains how to set the Jeep up for towing 4 down. There are a number of steps so make sure you follow them. We tow a '13 GC and it uses the same procedure. The wife is in charge of the inside while I do the tow bar hookup. She has a large print "cheat sheet" to aid in the setup. There is more to it than just pushing the button. Hope this helps.
  18. Welcome to the forum. If you could give a little more info such as brand of coach, model number, battery type, etc, will really help
  19. Welcome to the forum. Here is an exert from the FMCA web page. FMCAssist is emergency medical evacuation and repatriation coverage available to members worldwide as long as you are more than 75 miles from home. If you are a full-time RVer, you are always considered 75 miles from home. FMCAssist services are also available to members when traveling abroad. Some exclusions and limitation amounts pertain to these benefits. For further information, you may read the entire policy (48 pages) HERE
  20. In the 20+ years of camping in the desert, Wally Mart parking lots and in campgrounds, we have never had anything stolen. One time in Mexico we drove off for the day with the door standing wide open, not even the screen shut. Came back to find everything in its place. We don't even lock the bay doors as I would rather have someone open them and find nothing of value than to tear up the lock
  21. Thanks Bill. I get my info from Joe Wright but he has been on a cruise and I haven't checked in with him lately.
  22. Welcome to the forum If I was dropping off my coach for service, I would turn everything off just to be on the safe side. After all, you might not have an idea as to how long the coach will sit there
  23. Welcome to the forum. The only place we have stayed in Brookings is at the Elks lodge. I don't know if they have any long term or not
