When I had my shop in Loma Linda, Ca. I had a contract with most all the RV dealers in this area. I stopped using any extended service plans from anyone, especially Good Sam. Collecting from them would take months.

Most late model vehicles use an unabridged motor assemble to control the hvac mode doors. There should be three motors, one for temp blend, one for the mode doors and one that controls the fresh air door. My past experience has been either the fresh air motor or the temp blend door motor has stopped working. If the motors are receiving a ground signal from the control head and the motor doesn't move. the motor is defective. If there is no ground at the motor, the control head may be defective. Ford, GM and Monaco use the same motor assemble. , made by Delphi (a subsidiary of GM). The hot water control valve is also controlled electrically. Just my two cents worth.

My wife and I have been camping for over 40 years and have not experienced any sort of theft issues, but I'm careful about the area the camp ground is located in. If i'm not comfortable with the camp ground appearance , I don't stop.

Check the chemical compound on any rubber conditioner. If it has solvents in them, don't use them on tires. It will dry them out prematurely. ,

Just signed up for FMCA roadside assistance. I pray that we will never have to use it.

I had the same problem a few years ago. The Onan tech at a rally looked at it and replaced the brush assembly and everything started working fine.

My two cents worth, I would check the wiring inside the trailer connector for a loose wire shorting to the running light circuit. Its not uncommon for the wires to come loose. You might want to check for a defective (bad) ground in the tail lamp assembly. It's not hard to do if you have an inexpensive test light. You can private message me and i'll give you my cell number and I can walk you thru the process.

Actually, mine is a 1989 Ford Bronco II. That's the last year before they changed to the Explorer. The early Broncos were not produced after 1971. There are quit a few for sale out here. Some in pretty good shape, but most have been used and abused. Most of the mods on mine are made by me. Lift kits can be bought (but not very good), so I built just about all of it. My wife and I have a blast in it. She doesn't care too much for the Hammers (rock crawling), so I go it alone.

I usually have the Bronco on a full trailer because, sometimes, I may break her and need a way to get her home. I use the dolly for easy wheeling trips, like out at the property, so I think i'll keep the dolly.

Thank you, the coach is great. Yea, my honey-do list just got longer. The white stuff doesn't happen very often. We are going to be at Chandler Convention in March. Are ya'll going to be there?

Removing the glaze from the front rotors will require servicing both sides (in-board and out-board sides). Best to use a cordless drill with a lite sanding disc installed and run on slow speed. All your trying to do is remove the black shiny surface. If there are hot spots on the rotors or drums, you will need to have them replaced. The drums will have to be done by hand. The easiest way to do this is to pay a professional to resurface the rotors and drums. When removing the glaze off the front pads, I always used a flat piece of 1/2 inch glass to make sure to keep the pads flat. The rear shoes need to be done by hand. Something else to keep in mind is, if the friction material has been overheated too many times it won't help. Please keep in mind that this is a safety issue. I retired from the automotive industry 10 years ago, with 53 years of service and performed many brake services on many types of RV's. Feel free to post a response here and I will be more than glad to help as much as possible. I'll leave you my phone number if you send me a Private Message. Rick Ammerman F442485

Hi. I have a jack question to ask. My wife and I own a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor with Power Gear hydraulic jacks. I'm not sure how to word this, but the jacks will not lift the coach to level it. It is a manual system. As soon as the jacks touch down (touch the ground) they stop moving. I can still hear the pump working, but no lift. I've checked the fluid level and its full. I tried to call Power Gear, but got no help. Any suggestions? I'm Rick Ammerman and live in Southern California, with my wife, Paula of 45 years.

I have connected the house battery negative to the chassis battery negative and everything started to work again. I would like to know where the location of the house ground connection is located on the chassis, so I don't have to remove all the belly pans to hunt for it. I have been in the automotive industry for 50 years, mostly doing electrical. I've made all the electrical tests that are appropriate for this condition. thanks for the info.
