  1. just checked the voltage at start up solenoid and the voltage only dropped 2 tenths.
  2. Yup. I have been dealing with this for about 2 years. I did find a bad ground and repaired it but that did not correct the problem.
  3. I have cycled them seperately quit a few times and i have checked for air in the the system. None found
  4. Thank you.For your info, the rear jacks can be operated one at a time or together, the front operate together
  5. I have tried to shorten the travel of the jacks with blocks of wood and had the same results. As soon as the jack pads touch down, front or rear, they are done lifting. The pump does not sound like it is laboring.
  6. the pressure gauge was connected to the larger plug
  7. Yes. I can feel the jacks touch down but will not lift/move the coach to level it. I will try and send a pic of where the gauge was attached.
  8. No, that is the first thing i checked. Also i have to help the rear jacks up all the way. The front jacks do not need help. I have no leaks that are external.
  9. It is a Power Gear system, with 4 jacks and is a manuel system
  10. I have tried to find a rebuild kit but wasn't successful. all the hyd shops around here say they can't do anything foe me. that is why i was going to replace it.
  11. we have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endevor, 38 foot. i need to replace the pump assemble and can not seem to find one. I guess mine is obsolete. Your help would be appreciated. The jacks (4) will extend but will not lift the coach to level. I had a pressure gauge installed and pump will only make 500psi. Was told by a tech that the pump needs to be replaced. 12. I had an issue with a customers generator about a year ago. The issue was the owner only used the gen-set to charge the batteries. It had excessive carbon deposits on the pistons and valves. We cleaned the carbon out and ran the generator for about 3 hours with a heavy load. We had the a/c on and two(2) commercial battery chargers plugged in and only got to 75%. The issues were corrected and the customer now loads the gen-set every time he starts it up. Hope this helps.

That is a port where a pressure gauge can be installed. Makes it easier to check fuel pressure when trying to diagnosing engine performance issues.

If there is an Oriellys near you, you can rent a pressure tester them and get your money back when you return the test equipment.

Before you install the new plugs, check and see what the fuel pressure is coming out of regulator. If it is more than 6.5psi replace the regulator. If the pressure is correct, then it could be a crack in the main body (plastic) and need to be replaced. Don.t ruin the new plugs, check the carb. and fuel pressure first.

Holley also makes a fuel injection unit that is easy to install. The pressure regulator and control module and throttle position sensor are all internal in the unit itself. It's like replacing the carb. I think you might have to install an O2 sensor in the exhaust down pipe. All the parts come in the kit. It's a better option than with another carb. that your just going to have problems with again. Just a thought.

Back in the day, Dodge had an issue with the Thermal Quad's main body (made out of plastic) cracking in the bottom corner and allowing an excess of fuel puddling on the floor of the intake manifold (flooding). A local racer's shop should be able to order a new main body. I don't remember if the 440 was ever shipped with a Holley fuel pressure regulator. If someone has installed an electric fuel pump, a regulator is required to lower the pressure to not more than 6.5 psi. You can pull the vacumn hose off the pressure regulator and if gas comes out of the hose, it's defective. Please be careful, it's a fire hazard. There are a lot of reasons one would install a after market fuel pump. The main reason would be, fuel starvation while pulling grades or pulling heavy loads. I hope this helps a little.
  18. I had Hankook tires on my Endeaver for 6 years and had great service from them. When i renewed the tires they were on national back order. So i had Hercules Strong Guard tires installed and so far they are working out ok. The ride is a little bit harsher but not really bad.
  19. I had to by-pass mine twice before i could get it repaired by a Norcold tech. When your out in the middle of nowhere (literally), you gotta do what you can.
