  1. I've attached preliminary listings (Adobe PDF files) of Crafts and Seminars at our Western Area Rally in Indio January 7-11 2015. The Rally theme for 2015 is "Out of This World"! See you in Indio! -- Warren F352839
  2. Agree that all of this is good info. When passing, I don't start to return to the lane until I see both headlights of the passed vehicle in the right side mirror (a flat mirror, not the wide angle). You normally would have that mirror adjusted to see just the side of the coach and the lane behind. I was taught this in driving school and it works no matter how long you are. I use the rear view camera as a guide as to when to start looking for the headlights. I drive the coach with toad in Los Angeles and other nasty urban traffic. You'll also get the salute from those who will cut in behind you since they think you are taking too long to move back over <sigh>. I think of them as 3 year olds who need to me to make sure they survive the trip.

  9. Hello Don, I'm guessing a bad ground at the latching controller or the controller has failed. The latching controller is activated by a temporary ground at any of the switches, the relay turns on those lights and provides ground to the pump. You should have battery voltage at the pump, likely you didn't see it. If it has no power, the controller will still turn the indicator lights on. Warren
  10. Same thing for us, CC got charged - went in to register again and it said we were already registered so I think we're good.
  11. Bumping this post - thanks for the compliment Bill! Hope you can make the Dogpatch USA 2014 Western Area Rally Shameless plug: I've heard a lot of folks just come for the Ice Cream Social! -- Warren
  12. garyntut, If you get a chance we 'd love to have you (and anyone reading this) come to the Western Area Rally in Indio, CA January 8-12, 2014. The theme this year is Dogpatch USA. Our Rally this past January had 1100 families attend - we have a terrific time and we need volunteers - in fact the Rally registration form asks if you want to volunteer. More info here: http://www.wafmca.com/western_rally.htm See you in Indio!
  13. Info and Registration links are now available: http://www.wafmca.com/western_rally.htm
  14. That's the theme for the 2014 Western Area Rally! http://www.wafmca.com/western_rally.htm
  15. Can they move the camera so we can see the projection screen?
  16. Amazon carries it. An Amazon reviewer says Walmart stopped carrying it. http://amzn.com/B004VL3ZPQ There is no phosphate in it: http://www.rbnainfo.com/productpro/ProductSearch.do?brandId=6&productLineId=194&searchType=PL&template=1
  17. Despite a serious dust storm on Thursday and a couple of the usual glitches -- we once again had a great Western Area rally -- just shy of 1100 families in attendance. Lots of good friends and super entertainment. We had to postpone our parade until Saturday due to that storm but it was still one of the highlights -- the Circus theme really generated creativity. Who knew you could do that with a golf cart and a Roadtrek? (And despite the excreting elephant). It was terrific to see and meet all the National Officers in attendance. On a serious note, we all hope for a full recovery for our Senior VP Richard Gibbs who was hospitalized just before the rally started. All the best wishes to him and his family. Photos can be reached via the link here: http://wafmca.com -- Warren -- Hi to Al & Bobbi !
  18. We have a external seam where the bottom "lip" or flange met the the outside slide wall, the sealant had come out and let water in. Resealing with clear RTV fixed it and I now routinely check the sealer in that area. This was the only slide where that seam was above the slide floor where water could come inside. -- Warren
  19. Photos of the doings so far this year have been posted! Also see http://wafmca.com for the link.
  20. Day Passes for guests can be purchased at Gates 5, 6 and 9 or at the Information Desk in Fullenwider 9 Lobby. Day Passes allow guests to stay on grounds until 5:00 PM. For an additional fee guests who are FMCA members can stay for the evening entertainment. Persons with a Day Pass can also attend the Ladies Tea & Fashion Show on Friday (1PM to 3PM) by purchasing a $1.00 ticket. Day Pass prices FMCA Members: $8.00/day $15.00 with evening entertainment Non-Members: $10.00/day Entertainment is not available Under 12 are free -- Warren
  21. As noted, if you paid for electric you will get electric no matter when you arrive. If you want to park with a group then all of you need arrive together and be in the same boat regards electric as there are Electric areas, 7am-10pm genny areas, and 24/7 genny areas, Looking forward to seeing you in Indio! -- Warren
  22. Monday arrival is fine -- you can come into the fairgrounds and pay the nightly fee ($20 or $25 a night I can't remember right off) for the extra nights on arrival and check in at the same time. Will Call and On Site Registration will be in the Holding Area in the Orange lot Mon - Wed (see the map on the last page here: http://www.fmca.com/...3_ataglance.pdf) turn East into the Holding area off Arabia St just south of Dr. Carreon Bl. Rally fees cover Wed to Sat nights so a Monday arrival is 2 extra nights. Credentials and parking placards will be mailed to you unless you asked to have them held at Will Call. They should be at your mailing address in time before the Rally. You will turn in Locator cards to get your goody bags with the Program, local info, food coupons etc. at the Fullenwider Auditorium Mon-Thu. As to figuring out where you park and electricity - there are Electric areas, 7AM - 10 PM genny areas, and 24/7 genny areas - it is a large venue - in general there won't be water or sewer at or near your site, but there will be a pumpout service available and a dump site towards gate 9 - see the Program for details. If you need more info post here so everyone can see or PM me. See you in Indio! -- Warren
