Very informative and helpful post. Thank you.

People like that should be banned from driving a RV.

This is what we're considering. Comes with a (3) yr guarantee vs (2) for most and is on sale. Get the flow through sensors for the rv, if available, that allow adding air when on the tires, but the recommendation is the regular ones for any towed vehicles. Seems car washes like to eat the flow through ones due to them sticking out too far. http://www.tiretraker.com/

If not, there's always Wally World.

According to this manual which can be downloaded, no. Do you not have a manual for that new of a vehicle? http://www.manualslib.com/download/254943/Dodge-2011-Ram-1500.html

If you haven't done so, I would still consider calling the Surge Guard folks and running your scenario by them. A 6 second reaction time, by the surge protector, would be unacceptable to me and might warrant a replacement.
-
You need to place a call to SurgeGuard and run the scenario by them. It could be a defective unit and need replacing. We have the 50a unit and it has shut our unit down on a low voltage situation. If you don't have a ems with a led readout, I would suggest getting one or the other of these and keep them plugged in. http://www.trci.net/products/surge-guard/ http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/ac-voltage-meter/29375 http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_11?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=kill+a+watt&sprefix=kill+a+watt%2Caps%2C240

I will except tires no older than 12 months.

Wi-Fi that actually works.

I second the recommendation for Lichtsinn Motors. The people in their parts dept are also top notch.

These people sell DIY kits. http://daverootrvglassrepair.com/

I to had been a little skeptical with most portable compressors ability to pump up those big ole mh tires. That changed when several members on other forums recommended this one from Sears. I bought one and it will do the J O B. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00915309000P?mv=rr

And the size was????????

Thank u for that info Mr W. Our ISL 370 Cummins is the side rad so should be easier to clean.
-
When everyone refers to the front of the radiator, is that looking at it from the outside of the mh or from the inside? We have the side rad on our DSDP but I see a cleaning in the near future.
-
That is a possibility, just never thought about doing it that way.

We carry this compressor from Sears in our rig along with an extension cord. Fire up the gennie and air away with no problems on our 22.5 tires. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00915309000P?mv=rr

You might look at Hankooks. We have run them on our cars and MH for some time and have been pleased. The price is nice to.

Gray Water Tank Odor Solved
jc21014 replied to zoso.chas@yahoo.com's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
CW is becoming well known for their incompetence and frequent failure to use common sense when working on rv's. I would take it right back to them and have the service manager explain why it wasn't done, then insist that it be done. -
We use the ladder mounts sold by Kiley Mold for attaching to the rear ladder. We also bought (4) approximately silver dollar sized clear suction cups, secured them to the other FMCA plaque with small screws/nuts and mount it on the front windshield just above the dash.

I personally will not be in any site that is so unlevel that the front tires are off the ground. I will, to a minor degree, use minimal boards if needed. I would not feel comfortable having a 30000# mh suspended even a few inches off the ground on jack stands as the potential for damage/booboos occurring is their.

Seems to be a nice stopover. Thanks for the info. http://www.homewoodrvpark.com/

We had a similiar "reduced speed/power" situation last week while enroute to Branson, Mo last week on our ISL 370 Cummins. There is only (1) combo fuel/water separator filter on our rig and the general consensus of most was a filter issue.(Wolfe10 was one of the responders on another forum ) This filter was supposedly changed 8-9000 miles ago but I replaced it with a new one at the cg and it seemed to run fine on the way home. Will be taking it to Cummins-Onan and have them check the fuel pump specs to make sure it is working correctly.

Thank you for the info.

We also use the ready brake system and will be changing to the one that stores on the mh.
