  1. FIVE. Keep the spray away from your electronic bay and you have nothing to worry about. As I have said in the past, I don't wash my coach! I do wash my windows and have ordered some RejeX, it will be in this weekend. I'll post if it works or don't work! By the way, I found it at True Value Hardware...they was out of stock! You can also get it at Amazon & RejeX.com !
  2. RAYIN. If your coach start smelling like the African Savanna, you might have an elephant or some really large mice! The Savanna smells like something died...yuk!
  3. Harry. You posted yesterday that you only boondock occasionally...I'm confused!
  4. Rich. I have felt that there is too much built in PC in this (Forum) program! You had to take "Rich", the program would not accept "Di**", but DickandLois, is OK !
  5. Oh. With a 500, I suspect the Allison is a 4000 or a 4060. Don't know what they used back then!
  6. Bill. Blake asked that ? 15 hours ago! We have no answer back on it. With a 500hp I suspect he has it, but don't know where it's located. Mine is lower part of dash, left side of steering wheel (hard to see and read what the toggle is)! We now know that he has 2 batteries.
  7. Bill. The "Life time pass" is now $80.
  8. Have your DW take your Sister to the "knitting" (you really don't want to know), while you check out the Stockyard !
  9. Seems that everything dealing with the slide out is in the Owners manual.
  10. I have AT&T phone, DIRECTV on roof of coach & AT&T World phone! Verizon Internet and it works well, but I do not have a need or wish to stream anything! Just wish that I could get my bill lowered for 5 lousy GB's a month...25GB a month for same $$$ is a non brainer and I will do it, when everyone has their Ducks in a row! This year or next. I just don't need to be first and go thru the BS.
  11. Have you checked your new solenoid ? Make sure you have a good tight ground and all tight, non corroded leads on battery and solenoid? Also from switch to starter.
  12. I use mine in 5th gear along with brakE when I'm at 50, then as a slow down to about 30 I turn it off and just use break. In a city, on city streets I use 4th period. Have a choice of Hi or Low engine brake.
  13. JAWOPW. Welcome to the Forum! Check your engine battery/batteries with a volt meter....don't rely on the panel. Less that 13V, put a charger on it/them, if acid check water level before using charger!
  14. colthoff. Welcome to the Forum! I presume that's the model, who makes it? Also, what does your owners manual say about being towed? If it say's no to 4 down, then call Remco....they may have a solution!
  15. Ray. Your lucky. Do you still carry the magnet?
  16. I have never seen or heard of a leveling system that also controlled the slide out/outs from the same touch pad. I just scan thru the link and saw no ref. to a slide out on any of the schematics!
  17. Think the NO COLD would not even make for good anchorage! POS...Value = Zip! To think that their still putting that fire hazard in new coaches..sick.
  18. I know, I did....along with all that asbestos's and lead paint. Drank water out of a garden hose also & that thing that was supposed to make you go blind !
  19. I will not say that I'm Sane, therefore I'm not Insane!
  20. A thousand Thank Yous, doesn't cover half, of what you did and wrote!
  21. Brett. I will agree that is probably what happened...I also still wonder why no one got cut from the magazine that is not cost effective, now that we have digital.
  22. Blake. Howdy, where have you been? It was a KOA about 40 years ago. Yes they did have a fire some years back. Alzafar Shriner RV Club, used to have their Christmas Rally there until 2 years ago...then we moved to Alamo Park in Bourne (now new owners and no more short term, 6 months minimum) and this year it's Skyline Ranch RV Park in Bandera! Linda and I will be at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort, Kerrville this Thursday for a rally! Then on to Three Rivers for Thanksgiving....her Ranch!
  23. Fred. Welcome! Hydrogen Peroxide, any drug store, home improvement, big box store or Farm & Ranch. I get it at Wall Mart, 99 cents a quart. I also have it in a spray bottle, to apply on scraps, cuts and stings!
  24. Thought I would bring this up: When I'm travelling around in the Spring, Summer and Fall, I don't carry rubber, wood or anything else to park on! Would be skeptical if any of you did. Now, if you live in a area where you have bad winters and store your coach for months at a time, You do need some kind of barrier! In the Summer, I stay in one RV park in CO. for 6 weeks and I cover my tires, but I'm parked on gravel and yes, it rains and occasionally we get snow and sleet....I'm sitting on gravel. Has not hurt my tires yet....I get new ones every 6/7 years, even if I don't see any cracks on side wall (it's the ones I don't see that I worry about)! Let's be careful to not OVER THINK THIS !
