  1. Hope you had some help in WA. Hard to care for pets of any kind, with a broken anything! Good Luck on your Journey!
  2. Ditto that...my hands aren't any different than most of you and muscle mass is going South! Easy 10 years ago...
  3. Welcome. Well done, it goes better with practice. I do mine in March and your right about saving a lot of $$$$ by DIY! I have a side radiator, so I do mine from laying on my back...I wear an old dive mask and TYVIK coveralls that I get at the paint store and rubber maid gloves that Linda tapes over wrist....Still get dirty. I use a steam power sprayer.
  4. Since your in the same climate as Winnebago, I would call them to find out what they do and recommend. There are several times that I have been in the white stuff and below 20 degrees, I don't make a habit of it, but what I have done is open a vent about an inch, same with a window. Also in winter I carry a recirculating oil heater inside coach, looks like the old fashion register and turn it on after the Aqua Hot has got coach to the temp I want. Don't forget to turn on a celling fan or you can use a small floor fan, I use both with AC and Heat.
  5. smithy. Your correct, but then FMCA went shopping for another provider and came up with one in South Dakota....who now is out of business and FMCA is also not in that business any more! RIGHT?
  6. Catch-22? Having read both Posts, it seems to me that everyone is getting the run around. Verizon should be ready to go on this...or did FMCA pull the trigger too fast again?
  7. Yeah. That's a new one for me! Never done that and have never had a problem in 3 DP's....have it serviced or service it yourself once a year!
  8. Sure would be nice if you would list your, year, make, model in your signature...both of you!
  9. Craig. Welcome to the Forum! If you go to the beginning of this notification, all your questions has already been answered by smithy. Hopefully duplication of information will not be necessary!
  10. Tom. You get good suggestions after 3 cups of Coffee!
  11. Fantastic pictures! Brings back memories and Linda want's to go...So, I'll get on the phone today!
  12. BillA. Since yours is August and if you did 2 years now. Would that go from August to August again, or November to November? I don't know that answer!
  13. Leather. Sheep skin from NZ and Elk from Sweden! Never out of style...
  14. BillA. Thank you for sharing and sorry for your loss! Yeah, wish I had done that with my Mom! Presidential is where I stayed.....I got a last minute cancellation. Carl C.
  15. Tom. Welcome to the Forum! Since I live in Texas, afraid I'm not much help....I would take coach and toad to a dealer or even Camping World(one of the things they know how to install).
  16. smithy. How does a person, find out, how much the add on is? Can that be done before an order is made? Joe S. You can add up to 5 years (most cost affective) any time you want. I did 3 months ago!
  17. That was the Tireman! I also use Lucas SM and 303 protection on my rubber!
  18. Nice coach! Is the trailer your toad?
  19. Kay. I got DIRECTV, why would I want to look at a movie on my computer? I have heard that gaming takes a lot of GB's....that's also, not me!
  20. Joe. I have the same problem...can you pm me a photo of tool?
  21. M&G breaking. It works with the air brakes of the coach and your brake cylinder..they are in Athens, TX. I used to have all the others at some time in my RV life.
  22. Been a while since I went from Jersey to Manhattan, I could not take the Tunnel under the Hudson, had to take a bridge instead....had to do with Propane. This was last in 1988. As lenp said and also on all ferry's on the Outhere Banks. As for Mobil, AL and AZ, no problem! Just know the height of your coach (that's with the tallest thing on your roof) and I mentally add 3 inches! If it's 13' 6" or less, I don't go there!
  23. There are other parks on the West side, also along I-40 on top of the hill...you'll be about 500 feet above the Balloon field and get some great visual and photos of all the balloons as they rise in the morning! Have taken my Jeep into "Old Town" and agree with Bill on the Café, great food. You have got to go to the 5 foods of Mexico! So. Ca., AZ., NM., TX. and Mexico! All different.
  24. Do you have a 5 or 7 pin connector? I have used the 10,000 Blu-Ox on a Chevy 2500 Diesel 4x4 and my lights worked. R, L & Brake as needed. Never had both come on. I now use a Roadmaster 6,000 with M&G braking on a Jeep Wrangler Gas, 4x4 and have separate R,L, & Brake as above! 7 pin on both systems! What make and model coach do you have?
