I can understand why he want's his 3500! Like most yankee's, your assuming too much...don't mean to be disrespectful, but he said that he did not want to buy a small toad. I suspect he will have a 3500 for a long time to come! From 2006 to 2009 my toad was a Chevy 2500, 4 x 4 Crewcab...Horrible turn radius, I also had a one Ton 4x4 Ford Centurion.

Don't know about Luling, but down the road is Gonzales, Tx. Home of some great smoking and Jimmy Dean! Both Lockhart & Austin has some of the best BBQ in Texas!

Implants fall under "Cosmetics"...I found no such coverage when I was looking! 2 choices are dentures, full or partial is covered by Medi Care and most supplemental plans. I opted for full implants by Smiles of Texas in Houston...$42,500, lot of $$$ but well worth it. Did mine in 2016 !

Hard to believe, but my King Aire start batteries only charge on Alternator and a Solar panel. When New, this coach was listed at $805,000+! We just installed new start batteries yesterday, NAPA Ser. 31 AGM Commercial.

Your MB 330 is similar to the C7 CAT, but where as the CAT produces 850 torque, yours does 1,000 ft. lb. of torque, so you should have no problems!

Is it the Inverter, or is the beep from fridge? If the fridge looses it's air tight seal, you'll get on/off beep!
Engine charges start batteries, generator or shore power charges house batteries.

I totally agree with all of you! We will be home & we fly the US Flag and the Texas Flag every day! Normally at this time of the year, we are in the Mountains somewhere. Last year for the 4th, we where in a Campground on the Gaspe Peninsula, Canada, with 27 other coach's, 2 of them from Vancouver Isl, BC...We all flew Old Glory and first sang the National Anthem, Followed by Oh Canada! No one was offended and the whole Park joined in!

Rich, that's one good reason to study, all your toggle switches location and function, before you engage gear and go! Hunt and peck at 60+ mph is not a good thing!!!
If you don't have a Owners Manual of Engine, Chassis and Coach, in most cases it's available on line!

Cliff, if you are or where happy with the Bilstein's, then get a new set. Contact Bilstein direct, they probably have them or they can advice you on a replacement. Airbags are probably by Firestone. One shock does not fit all XC chassis.
Engine # will tell what year the chassis is. VIN# is for build date of coach. Not uncommon for engine to be a different age than chassis and chassis to be older than coach!

Rolling wheels, weight and inertia, makes for some interesting moments on Steep down grades! I have pulled over in the truck brake check area on more than a couple of times! Safety First.

From 1976 to 1990, my wife and I, spent most summers on the Cape & since she was from Lebanon, NH, we did a lot of off the beaten path travel in our 24' - 34' coaches, other than the 24', we had a toad in rear & 2 Honda 80cc in front on a custom built rack. We did get in a bind once, in NH, a RR underpass, that was over a foot lower than the coach! 90% of the hills where a lot of curves, short and steep! Same with Vermont. We was not crazy, so we took the toad on the Appalachia Trail and Blue Mountains. If I'm in a time constraint, I use the Interstate, otherwise US Hwy's or secondary roads! I figure if a OTR or Box truck can go, then I can also. Natchez Trace is another favorite road.
RSBILL, your right about Lake City and along with the Million Dollar Hwy! Going to Estes Park is no walk in the woods either!

RSBILL, Joe has made the run a few times. I do think he's happier now, than in his "C"!
I still think a Super "C" is a better choice!

RayIN, yes it can do some damage, but far less than the Generator coming out at 35 mph on a panic stop into the car ahead, that's a lot of inertia! Or even with no car ahead in it's way!

Unless your in some backwater countries, you'll always have a signage that gives the % of incline for the downward grade ahead. Some coaches have a high engine brake and some have high & low. Last year in a coach with a Cummins 425 HP, I used Low for the first time ever...27% grade down, low is running on 2 cylinders in 2nd gear, then 1st gear! High is 4 cylinders and you can start in 4th gear...again, as Bill asked, what engine HP or Model Tiffin do you have?
