HayesFamily, we are DVC members, and live about 1.5 hrs north of you. Kids are in high school now so we do not go that time of year. Otherwise I would say "see you there!!" Is this your first Disney trip?

Do you have any water coming into the coach to the interior faucets? Simple test, swing the valve to the horizontal position, go inside an open a faucet, no water, the valve is directing the water elsewhere, if you have water pressure the valve is broken and not switching to tank fill. Hard to tell but it looks like there is a pressure regulator on the inbound hose, is that blocking all flow if you have no water anywhere? -

I have the same valve on my coach. We have a label on it "swan quick fill" the UP position (as in the photo) will send water to the coach for normal usage. Horizontal will fill the tank. I wonder if the valve is broken? On ours it just has a Pex line going into the top of the fresh tank and another going into the coach somewhere. We also have a tank fill with a cap you can unscrew and just lay a hose in and turn on. Herman....I've got to hear that story -

I also have one of these plugged into the coach inside on the wall. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/digital-line-monitor/24900 Voltage drops it sounds an alarm, usually within a few seconds of my TRC on the tower cutting power to the coach.

Trynforpar, we have the Rand McNally RV gps...it's a better fit as a wheel chock than a GPS! I have called, sent it back, updated, updated, updated (I could do this all day its been updated so many times....) still almost useless! It has tried to send us down cattle pastures, on roads with a 3 ton covered bridge (and it has all of our coach information loaded). The final straw was we tried to get to Myrtle Beach SC last year from PA...it couldn't locate Myrtle Beach SC. I use it now just as a live map on rare occasions. I am planning on purchasing a Garmin for next year. Rand McNally's customer service is non existent, after it was returned and still didn't work, I asked them to replace it or refund me they told me it was out of warranty now and can no longer help me with my concerns. We are not full timers so time has worked against us with this product and they tell you their latest update will fix it, so you update it, next trip out...still doesn't work, call back...and on and on and on.... I believe they tell you to update it, update it, update it just to drag you closer to your warranty expiration then they cut you loose . My problem with phone APP's DW would have it in her hand telling me where to go, which is often a disaster. Plus it would use phone data and when you exceed that your monthly bill goes off the charts.

Carl, same here. I have a progressive built in, TRC hanging on the tower. I'm going to be honest....I had no idea there was one hard wired and I bought the TRC when I got the coach. I will say the TRC has the latest technology and it trips faster than the Progressive, plus it displays why it tripped.

Bill, stay on interstates. State routes should be OK. If under 13'6" it's posted with the route for you to take. In PA anyway. Watch Connecticut...interstates no problem, other than that I will often route out our trip, Google street view and click my way down the road, especially if I see railroad tracks. You can usually see the height signs. Streams, creeks and rivers on back roads, I will also check weight ratings on the bridge. A little pre planning can make the trip much more pleasant. -
Melted a bus bar in the breaker panel on the last coach and all of the wiring to the ATS. I learned the hard way . I have friends that still do not have any protection. They just don't seem to care.

The fact that you just don't see a 30 amp commercial tester always puzzled me. Maybe someone makes it now? Especially since that outlet by designwould be more commonly wired incorrectly. I always used my $17.95 volt meter and my plug in surge protector when we had a 30 amp coach.

I run the Power Pal Brett mentioned above, I keep it next to the drivers seat in a pouch. I grab it every single time before I plug in. I just wish it was louder when it is speaking, sometimes it gets drowned out with background noise. If you are getting two 120 legs from a 30 amp 3 prong outlet its wired like a clothes dryer .

All connected and working. I will install the fuel cooler when it arrives. At this time we have no more long distant trips planned so temps shouldn't be such a concern. Call me crazy but it seems to idle smoother
