Crack in old burner chamber. The manual says to replace if crack is larger than 1". I felt while I was here I should just replace it. Once you see the melted air swirler in the next photos I really had no choice. -

Carl, what model is your coach?

Good link Kay, very useful! I installed the Horst Miracle probes on our old coach (link on your attachment) they worked fantastic!

Herman, I was walking through the yard the other day at work and thought of you, snapped a photo of a new tractor with oil bath hubs and posted it in the gallery section. It has the oil requirement sticker on the window. just in case anyone was wondering, the photo is a from a 12,000lb Meritor steer axle on a 2017 Volvo Tandem axle day cab Photo; http://community.fmca.com/gallery/image/4039-img-2172/

Steer axle oil bath hub cap in photo. Similar if not exact type on a tag or lift axle. -
I have no experience with a Macerator toilet. Our electric flush is mounted directly over the black tank and its the only hole in the floor.

Burner photo of electrodes, Photo Plate and Nozzle. Note all of the diesel fuel that was dripping out of it. I have had a raw fuel smell in this bay since we purchased the coach. With a little TLC and nozzle replacement we hope the fuel smell goes away. -

I saw these at Wal Mart last night for $12.97 per gallon just as Puff listed above. The rebate fine print only allows up to 4 gallons per household to get the rebate. Its tempting to switch over from Mobil to save a few $$

Carl, do you have a Blank tank flush port you can hook a hose to and rinse it out?
-
Agreed, 100%

$32 Mistake Putting Seals In Sealand Toilet
jleamont replied to lylefikse's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
Carl, we do the same with regards to tank emptying. I empty the Black every few days or when it hits 1/2. The gray gets dumped daily with 4 of us taking showers it fills up quick, usually first thing in the morning I go out side with my cup of coffee pull the valve and go sit under the awning and relax. Safer outside, just me and the dog while the hair dryers and hair spray is flowing, no place for me in there. My DW has the kids trained to take long hot showers, drives me nuts. Depending how long we are out we mostly use paper plates. -
Please do....hu boy that will ne the next thing the DW has me do...

BennieH, I can relate to the "itch" we are having it here also in PA. Especially when most on here are headed to Perry....... without me... . I am completing projects I only was considering last year on our coach. wrap it up and go have fun with it...that's what its all about.

I saw a coach with them mounted on the wall, I cannot remember the make. I have also thought about it a few times and had our toilet apart in 2014 for a new valve. there is not a lot going on with those, pretty simple design. I cannot recall how many wires go to the switch either. If it were me I would verify they are all different colors, cut them mid way, add longer wires between each section, locate a suitable location for the switch, bring the extended wires to it and reconnect the switch. I would say the hardest part would be getting the wires from the toilet to where you want the switch, otherwise its just match the colors. In the end I guess it really depends on what skill level you have, tools and patience.
