  1. As long as they are open when you arrive for dinner, oops, lol
  2. Richard, too bad you passed by without saying hello. If you get back out this way in the future send me a PM. Port Deposit MD is 26 miles from our house, I agree it’s a cute town, some good places to eat down that way also.
  3. WELCOME!! you are in my neck of the woods.
  4. Could be. It just struck me as being odd. You don’t see that often out here on the east coast.
  5. If its covered over the only other access would be to remove the lamp as a unit, replace the bulb and reinstall. They usually mount from the rear, can you stick a phone back in there and snap a photo?
  6. A marriage made in heaven, i'm a big cooker . I grew up with the thought that its better to have left overs than not having enough food. DW grew up the same way, so when we have anything at the house I can feed the neighborhood, most don't walk away, they crawl or roll . The other problem, I move to Texas, between you, Carl and Herman ill need a bigger smoker for all that Brisket
  7. Ernie, i'm curious. is that a floating floor? Wondering how it reacts with temperature swings throughout the seasons in a coach application?
  8. Every darn house I look at has them, and all I can think is "what a mess that will be to remove!"
  9. Good to know. I am looking for a country spot with a few acres. I want a detached garage large enough to park the coach inside and still have room to work on other projects. not going to get that in a city, plus we are not city people, nice to visit on occasion but not home for us! Whats with houses in TX having popcorn ceilings ?
  10. good to know, trying to plan a future move and making the list of critters that we will have to get use to
  11. Usually your access is from the generator area. Pull the generator out and reach in.
  12. You cant imagine how difficult and frustrating it is!
  13. WOW!! That takes the skills of a true craftsman!
  14. Bill, one year we went to Florida in love bug mating season, what a mess! It was hard to walk you were swatting around your face to clear a path. Carl, that sounds delicious!
  15. GLAD they made this so big, I want sure what website I was on
  16. Thanks Kay I wasn’t hungry until I opened this 😂. I just came in from moving the coach back into the driveway to catch up on the growing list of issues. Tonight’s menu, Aquahot repair. My electric element wasn’t working, high limit thermostat failed.
  17. Anyone on this business today would say NO! There is a shortage of qualified technicians around the USA, the ones leaving trade schools for the most part want to leave and make $100,000 after 2 years and do nothing for it but throw parts at something. When they cant get that they throw a temper tantrum and go onto something else. The skill set requirements have grown tremendously over the years while the mindset of the newer generations has deteriorated. Keep in mind the cost to do business with all of this technology is over the top as well and that is why the industry is falling apart. I was at a local dealership yesterday, the service manager and I were discussing the shortage. Most applicants do not return phone calls, the ones that do demand a six figure pay plan with a guarantee, air conditioned shop (we live in PA) and a 3-4 day work week with NO weekends. After I got done laughing we started to discuss how soon until retirement to run away from all of this nonsense! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you cant fix your coach yourself your in trouble and its getting worse by the day. Unless your willing to allow someone to throw your money at a problem until it goes away by process of elimination.
  18. Too many Portland's! You'd think we could be a bit more creative when towns were named
  19. Another....Portland Oregon or Portland Maine? Could be others as well but those two popped into my head.
