  1. Hopefully it goes better than the battery replacement that started this post . Standing by for the outcome...
  2. Ch1, does your pull happen when braking only or all the time?
  3. With that setup there really is no boundaries. If it was a gas coach with no brakes on the Jeep your routing would be different for safety. Not that a gas coach couldn't do it but it would be risky. We have some regular members on here from Colorado, hoping they chime in of preferred routes.
  4. Jim, I looked through my phone (yeah, I actually have a list of serial, parts and phone numbers in the note pad) I didn't save those. Probably since they are embossed onto the drums. I also put larger brakes on the rear which changed the drum part number. I also do not have the RR8R chassis so that might throw a curve into your issue. I have the side radiator and the older chassis which is an RM8H. Just tell them it doesn't matter if they screw onto the hubs. You can also call Gunite and have them cross those over if you should strike out, my rear drums are Gunite and it came with Webb from the factory. Gunite customer support (800) 626-7096 If you are installing them, just remember to turn the hub so one the drum landing is at 12:00, that will insure the drum is center onto the hub. That is all the screws do is make certain the drum is centered to the hub. Then install the wheel and torque it.
  5. Jim, I replaced the drums on my Roadmaster 3 years ago. The factory drums from Webb were several hundered dollars over the aftermarket from Webb. Literally the only difference was the factory ones are screwed to the hub, the aftermarket are not and were balanced. Being in the trucking industry I took the number off of the drums and called Webb tech support and the ones I purchased were an option that was much more cost effective. A local Truck parts house had them in stock. Here is the contact number; 800-931-3786,
  6. Nice looking coach, I love the chrome along the bottom!
  7. On the older F53 there is another option that might actually work on your year as well. Foot on the brake Turn the ignition to ON (do not attempt to crank the engine) Back the ignition off one click (there is a detent you will feel) Shift the transmission into Neutral Start the engine Shift into drive or reverse and go on your way.
  8. TheresaParsons, Welcome to the FMCA fourms! Have you tried using the switch to start and stop the generator? I want to determine if the switch works or is it just a failed indicator light. Depending on the switch manufacture the light may or may not be serviceable, which would require a new switch. Forrest River parts department would know that.
  9. Welcome to the FMCA forums! Your first post looks good. I would recomend creating a personal signature with your coach information for future help. What type of unit do you have, Diesel Pusher, Gas and will you be towing or not? Another good question, do you have brakes on your car in tow? Colorado can be tricky with mountains and switchbacks.
  10. Interesting, we always run both AC unit, since they do not cycle together it has never been an issue.
  11. I cant imagine that would go well for the person. Mike, here is the link from Amazon; https://www.amazon.com/3M-Quick-Fix-Adhesive-08155/dp/B00063WARW
  12. Mike, spoke to my friend and this is what you want to use; https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company-us/all-3m-products/~/3M-Quick-Fix-Adhesive/?N=5002385+3293083500&rt=rud he told me to tell you, use caution once it’s set it will not come apart without cutting and drilling it out. Any body shop supply store will carry it. Or so does amazon
  13. You wait until you hit New England wise guy, just locating a campground can be a challenge that you can fit into let alone has 50 amp with W/S . Only the newer ones, the older spots,.,.,. bring your PowerPal, id bet its got a 50 amp plug with a 120 jumper on the back side all connected to the 30 amp plug https://50amppowerpal.com/
  14. YUP, don't like it but have gotten by with it in the past. It gives our EMS system a work out deciding what to shed when I turn the Keurig on
  15. So do we, in fact I can count on one hand how many State or Federal parks we have been to in 10 years. I have found that if you call around an area you are intending to explore someone will have it, but you have to seek it out.
  16. Keigm; I would be willing to bet that the modern day coaches are following whats available for campgrounds shore power. If someone introduced something other than what is the normal we that poor end user would find anywhere for the next 20 years that would be able to accommodate them. I struggle to locate campgrounds with 50 amps. A 50 amp coach actually has 220vac coming in on two separate legs (2 -120's) but still single phase. Load shed, the Energy Management System will calculate power in and power out, if out is asking for more it will automatically cut off items deemed less necessary to provide the request. I leave ours set to Automatic all the time.
  17. Mike, here is an automotive body side molding tape. If it were me id attempt to reattach with the factory hardware and add this for a 2nd line of defense. Can you photo the back side of the emblem? https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company-us/all-3m-products/~/3M-Super-Strength-Molding-Tape/?N=5002385+3293241071&rt=rud
  18. Sometimes! Cuisine is one additional plus for New Orleans. I had a Poboy there the last trip just across and down the block from the cafe Du Monde that I have been craving ever since. Local restaurants are always in our list when traveling, it’s a portion of the experience you must take on when exploring an area.
  19. No experience with that manufacture. I have seen this product and I believe Manholt just had his done with this product as well, Im sure he will chime in and verify once he reads this. https://rvroof.com/
  20. Mike, rsbilledwards would be the expert on this topic. He ran a body shop for years. I have a friend that runs a body shop now, I will reach out to him and ask if he has any suggestions as well.
  21. Didn't know that, I get the Philly Cheese steak lean going on while consuming one so I don't wear it
  22. This was the most common on Monaco coaches, depending on the year; Do you have this model; https://www.glendinningprods.com/products/cablemaster/rvcm-7/ Manual; https://www.glendinningprods.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Cablemaster_CM_-_Manual.pdf
  23. Perfect! I cannot miss my Cafe Du Monde trip while there! last time we walked from the CG down one day, the next day we drove down, parking was tough.
