  1. One time for us, I unhitched the toad, pulled into a lumber company turned around, reconnected the toad and drove off.
  2. I think...know if that was our coach, id move them inside. I am actually shocked that someone thought that was a good idea, the sad part for many years under the Monaco regime those were inside, looks like the took a short cut to save a few $$
  3. Carl Navistar from April 2009 to May 2013, then REV
  4. tjc41, Welcome to the FMCA forum! I also have an HR coach with my kitchen on the slide, all of my plumbing is on the inside. Your coach is actually built by Navistar, not HR (they just bought the name). I agree, in cold weather i.e. winter camping this could present a huge problem.
  5. You can borrow my younger daughter, she brutal with negotiations also with her attitude. Herman, that’s hilarious!
  6. Tireman, you win the "best response" award! I enjoyed reading it so much, I read it twice
  7. I have seen everything from Cylinder cavitation, multiple oil coolers fail, Air Compressor leaking, all ended up with coolant into the crankcase and sadly all long before 100,000 miles. As Carl Mentioned, Cummins dealer would be my 1st choice, 2nd would be a Freightliner dealer with the Cummins licensing.
  8. One photo the wiper seals on the front were not flipped outwards, I can tell you from experience on a Monaco product, if not flipped outwards it will leak and leak.. I also noticed a tear in the top right wiper seal. If it were me I'd replace the wiper seals on that slide. They just press in, but you will need to measure the size of the wiper seal and the length to make it all the way around the slide. You can purchase them aftermarket on here; https://rv.steelerubber.com/
  9. Carl, the tire in question is a failed Wrangler LT from the OP's post. The ST tire you mentioned should suffice in a trailer application.
  10. Eddie, are the seals flipping outwards when the slide is opened?
  11. Not to side with Goodyear, (believe me i'm not, I do not like their product) but they are LT tires on a trailer application. Car and light truck tires are not designed to scrub in turns like a trailer does at every turn, even worse trying to back into a tight spot . Cars and truck have steering, trailers are dragged around a turn. They just are not designed for it. I constantly hear about cheap Chinese tire failures on trailers, I am 99% convinced its not the tire, its the end user. I have had many, many trailers over the years I have replaced tires when they wore out and when they had side walls breaking down from UV. They all had Chinese tires, the same ones I read about all day long failing, one set I got 10 years and almost 50,000 miles out of them.
  12. I have heard of many accidents with truck drivers hitting parked RV's, but no theft. My friends Coach got backed into by a Werner driver.
  13. Carl, you’re too much.. A while back in this post Coffee was a topic. Well I absolutely love New Mexico Pinion coffee that we discovered while traveling this past summer. I also love Community Coffee, neither of these are available in PA, however Community Coffee is available in Delaware. So I stocked up for the winter since we are weekend camping in Fenwick Island Delaware.
  14. Thanks Guys, I beat a few disturbing symptoms that were starting to show there ugly faces and no more prescription meds for other issues. Life is good! 46 to go and I’ll be as skinny as Carl 😂😎😂 just not as tall and as good looking 😂🤣
  15. Lol, no bra needed anymore, I lost 114 lbs in two years. Trying out for Mr. Olympia at 46 😎
  16. Bill, its hard to see in the one photo but I had removed the rest of the shield and had some paint work completed from when you saw it last. My generator cover was never primed when it was painted at the factory, when I was scraping the shield any loose paint would peel like a banana . A friend runs a body shop, I pulled it off and gave it to him to repaint and he stripped it down and rebuilt it all back up, surprisingly the match is almost 100%. I still have some more minor paint work to be done, so minor its probably not going to get done.
  17. Always close it up before bed Jim, and I usually put away the chairs just in case it rains.
  18. Wayne, I have a snap on nose Bra, I put it on if its dry out and we are running interstates, otherwise it stays rolled up under the coach. here's a photo with it on and with it off
  19. Very nice! Look at that old floor underneath
  20. What I am usually the only one that likes the food, this place won all of us over...it must be good!
  21. We love this place! Stayed here once in 2016 site 173, the view was breath taking, every night watching the sun set on the lake, very quiet and relaxing. We found this hidden gem for fantastic burgers; Bluff's tavern 1548 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862 So small they do not have a web site, but the burgers were the best we've ever had!
  22. How long is the "C" RV and what is the curb weight of the F-150?
  23. The ISX also had Ceramic plunger failure within the fuel injection pump that would send ceramic shards into the crankcase and would ultimately destroy the engine. These were all HP ISX, I can’t seem to figure out the year range. The ones I had experience with were 450hp and around 2009. They did eventually redesign the pump, not sure what year.
