2005 Ford Explorer FLAT TOW
FreightLinerFever replied to TvlDs's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Ok,Make sure your truck Can flat tow first off. Second go to your RV dealer, they all sell tow kits to install to to the proper car. They will sell you kit for the car, get a black hawk tow bar. And get the invisibreak from road trek. This is the. Best. Breaking system I have found. Invisible goes under the seat and you forget about it. Very easy and works great.- 2 replies

There are always better and worse rigs in every park. You will take a beating trading unless you can get the dealer you bought it from to let you trade up. That way you don't take such a hit. My advice drive it for two years, live and learn, then trade up.

Keep the faith! Takes about a year to work the bugs out of any new coach. Stay on top of the warranty department and prebook service appointments even if you currently have nothing wrong at the time.

Anyone know how to change the username on your profile. Can't figure it out? Thanks

Keon, I would pass on the fixer upper if they won't let you get it inspected. There are plenty of solid rigs out there. The last thing you want is someone else's neglect. Good luck

You are getting air from outside. I had a 2008 FLEETWOOD, SAME ISSUE, FOUND THE TRAP DOOR IN THE CLOSET WAS NOT PROPERLY SEATED AND I WAS GETTING EXHAUST IN THROUGH THERE.

My experience with GS has been mixed. Called them three times. One time was bad had to handle on my own on a holiday, lady on the phone was clueless. Second time and third time they found me good road side assistance that got me rolling again. I may switch to CN when my contract is up just to see the difference.
