  7. Camping is not free just park day use sorry if I made it sound like camping was free although camping is discounted there is a long wait at most parks that have campsites and most aren't worth the hassle
  8. Not sure but on some they have max cool instead of recirculate I think it is the same
  9. Hea I resemble that the DW and I have them anything you can get from the government for free works for us.
  10. Our last coach was a super c 35 Gulf Stream Endura on a Chevy 5500 with a 8.1 gas plenty of power climbed hills like a mountain goat only problem was you were sitting in the orchestra pit had to talk loudly to have a conversation with DW first few miles in the DP and we were sold (all the racket is 40 ft behind) and won't go back ,?£##%+ now I can her her.?
  11. I would be afraid to even ask what it would cost to have Cummins work on it. I think I would just get a transmission jack and drop it myself and if I can't repair take the unit over to them.
  12. Herman that's a good idea It is a rubber line going in and I did think of that. I will install a shutoff valve when I do it. DW was calling had to drop it for now that's the good thing about retirement if you don't get it today there's always tomorrow.
  13. Herman it's really not to hard to get to filters I was just concerned about unleashing the geni when I removed the line from the tank to the fuel filter. As long as I can still do it I will. I don't mind crawling under to do simple maintnance. I will save my moneys for the complicated stuff that I need the pros for. I am retired and enjoy doing any maintnance on my vehicles that I can do.
  14. Carl if I did it right here are the pictures of my generator access
  15. There is a big cover in the front open so you can check fluids. You can get at it to service it have access to front can get to Back from underback but to get in the sides I guess you would have to drop it out. Could probably use a transmission jack looks like it wouldn't be to bad. I'll see if I can figure out how to insert pix tomorrow.
  16. It's mounted right in the nose between the frame rails
  17. Unfortunately my genny isn't on a slider

  19. Every road is rough in a jeep you outta try my 86 cj7 6" lift with 33s as you guys say in Texas Yahoo ride em cowboy ?
  20. Maybe I just didn't wait long enough this was the first time. Oil was a Walk in the park.
  21. Was changing oil and filters on a onan 7500QD when I loosened up the fuel filter fittings I waited for ever for fuel to drain. Was wondering if fuel was running from tank or I just didn't wait long enough for filter to drain. I seamed to get more than the filter holds.
  22. After working for RR for 26 years they would be the last ones I would trust. It will probably take weeks to get there and you don't know where it would be set off while waiting for right train going in the right direction.
  23. I just bought a set of 12 ton truck jack stands from harbor freight plan to raise coach with hyd jacks and put stands underneath just need enough to lube front end.
