  1. I would be weary of weight restrictions as sometimes they are for Bridges's along the route and those bridges don't care if it's a truck or a coach
  2. Guess you got a point Carl
  3. Try putting a dash cam in the toad and see if you can see what's happening
  4. Did you see if there was a separate audio wire on back of unit if so just unplug it

    Transfer Switch

Don't force it just get a bigger hammer
  6. As ABYRD said older coaches didn't always have transfer switches look in the compartment where the cord is stored for a Square box with a receptacle that matches your cord and plug the cord into it when you are off shore power
  7. Everybody makes you feel welcome on here no matter what corner of the world you come from or what you camp in. And always remember the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.
  8. Tiffinallegro1 good to see another newenglander on enjoy the new coach we wander up north a few times a year By by the way did somebody say Herman was getting sauced-- where's the party?? ?
  9. A fiver we had several years ago had solar it was great only plugged in in driveway if I needed power
  10. That opening looks like it gives really good accessibility to the front of the CAC for cleaning
  11. Nice job like the remote grease fitting
  12. Batteries don't freeze unless they go dead the charger must not have been working for some reason
  13. Fall protection is required by OSHA over 6 ft there are some exceptions with ladders I can't remember the details. When I worked for Amtrak we also had strict requirements on fall protection. They had a portable lift with a jib so when on top of cars you could hook up this could easily be used for an rv or truck. Not something Joe Sixpack would have hanging around.

    DEF Hydrometer

Seams like the wizards of tree hugging that designed these systems didn't consider seasonal use vehicles that sometimes sit for mounts at a time. Maybe caterpillar was on to something with the system that didn't use Def if they only found a way to prefect it.
  15. First time fo me was trying to use the weird plastic thing they call a key to set it up ours has the bottom two finely figured out you just pull the button out and stick it in the hole and it then works like an old fashioned key ?
  16. Blake we love the Grand Cherokee ours is a 2012 towes great and is good to ride around in. Only one that can be towed 4down is the one with the quadra-trac 2 transfer case it can be put in neutral and has no steering lock so that you don't have to leave the key in it

Ever see 6 6000 hp locomotives pulling a grade with 100+ cars talk about smoke!
  18. Not sure but I thought the problem was only with the Cherokee not the Grand Cherokee or other models. I agree with you Bill Jeep ? fluffed it off on the consumer. We currently have a 2012 Grand Cherokee had jeeps for the last 2 toads only because they have been no problem to tow.
  19. He probably can't answer cause he's to preoccupied backing it back to civilation
