  1. Is that you goin all in with the Angel Soft or did you get that text just before raising
  2. Finally ran the seafoam thru. Disconnected fuel line and fed it from a jug mix. Ran it for 45 mins. Unloaded and loaded. Seemed to run and restart OK.😀 I will try it tomorrow to confirm results
  3. Carnival just canceled all the cruises from North America until April 10th. Ours is scheduled for April 18th. See how that goes.......
  4. I never thought of dem meeces eating hoses. They had a fiesta in our last MH. Not in this one. We have mint that grows crazy in our yard I “harvest” it in the fall and throw it under the MH for the winter. Also use the good ol dryer sheets,(dollar store) everywhere, at least it smells nice. No rodents so far. The last MH they git in thru the rooftop. I left the ropes from the cover hanging on the ground. Became a ladder. Nice grinding noise when I started it and turned on the heater and with a face full of mice stuff. David
  5. Rich, Where did you get that parts list? I want to see if I can get one for my model. Nice breakdown. And the KaboatO........ David
  6. San Antonio?? What's that? J/K I would love to take a cruise to the lone star. That's a few years away, I think. David
  7. No I wasn't. Now I will. I'm pretty sure it was a combo of running it almost out of fuel and letting it sit. If I were to write all my lesson learned it would be like a complete set of Thomas Register if anyone still remembers what that was. David
  8. 8 day cruise- Grand Turd Turk, La Romana DR, Curacao and Aruba and like 3 days at sea, that's when we will burn up that credit.
  9. We have a cruise scheduled for next month. So far we are still a go........ Carnival just gave everyone a $200 on board credit on top of the $100 we already have. That's about a 2 day bar tab, lol. Hopefully everything stays on schedule.
  10. Good to hear Wayne! We should be cruising around the same time frame.
  11. I found this to share. Time to buy some SeaFoam. I might just add it to the main tank and go from there seeing the genny is running quite well now. Thanks guys. David
  12. No fault codes. I think your right Ray. DW said I didn’t give it enough time to get that good gas flowing freely. Think imma gonna tell her it was a loose wire. SeaFoam eh? Ty David
  13. 72 here today...yikes. That can only mean a blizzard later in the month....... After a sunday ride I am so ready.
  14. I took the air cleaner out and it stayed running. Air cleaner looks new? Shut it down and put air cleaner back in and it started and stayed running. Help me Mr. Wizard!.........remember where that came from.
  15. I got this error code: flash flash......flash flash or 22 Code 22 - Governor Actuator Overload Indicates the duration of operation is near full-duty cycle beyond design limit. A. Reduce Load Reduce the number of connected appliances, especially air conditioners and battery chargers. (Review load management in Section 4.4.) B. Check Air Filter Element Replace the air filter if dirty. C. Check Exhaust System If exhaust system is blocked, remove blockage. A. There is no load, circuit breakers on genny are off. B. Need to check that now but I didn’t go really dusty. C. I don’t see blockage Funny I tried starting about 8 times and it stalled out after about 1 minute each start. After the tries it started and stayed running, I put a load on it and it kept going. Ghost in the machine.
  16. I might just do that after a few checks this afternoon. The maintenance is due at 150 hrs, so imma close. David
  17. Greetings, I have an Onan RV OG 7000 gas model that starts and runs for a few then stalls out. I know the tank was less than 1/4 so I filled it up but the same thing happens. It has 140 hrs on it. Imma gonna see tonight if I can get any error codes. I started it in the MH and from the genny with the CB's off and it does it all the time. After like 10 trys it stayed running. Do you think the fuel filter or possibly the pump is problem. Thoughts?
  18. Imma gonna move my problem to where the "techies" hang out. Still stalls out after like a minute running with the CB's off on the front of the genny. Will check ground and code tonight.
  19. Took the MH for a ride yesterday and filled up the tank. Got home started the genny and no change. Looks like checking the fuel filter and pump is next. 1st scheduled maint. is @ 150 hrs and we are @ 140 hrs. Onward through the fog!
  20. Geez. I have a sissy fuel tank with a cap. of 80 gal. Funny thing is the Boston Whaler has a 90 gal. tank @ 21 ft
  21. It would be interesting to know if it works off the gauge or some kind of "gravity" feed. Seeing it's like spring here now I might "try" and trace the fuel line and see where it feeds from, maybe. Or if I was me, lol, I'll just fill er up and try it.
  22. I read somewhere that if you have a gas generator it will stall out if the coach has less than a 1/4 tank so you don't get stranded. Well I have less than 1/4 and the genny stalls out. Maybe get out for a ride this weekend and fill er up then see how the genny runs before getting a fuel pump and filter. Anyone heard about that 1/4 tank thingy?
  23. Finkle is Einhorn...Einhorn is Finkle............OMG
