rcieslak67 Report post Posted March 23, 2018 I have noticed that I have 2 fogged tail lights that are fogged from the inside. Does anyone have experience with this issue and what can be done.
elkhartjim Report post Posted March 23, 2018 Is it moisture or has the plastic actually fogged? Fogging/discoloration is usually on the outside of the lens.
rcieslak67 Report post Posted March 23, 2018 I believe it is on the inside of the lens.
jleamont Report post Posted March 23, 2018 Can you attach a photo? Usually fog on the inside is a bad seal, either from the socket or the lens where its seamed.

wildebill308 Report post Posted March 24, 2018 The first thing I would do is see how to get it off and clean the inside. It may just be dirt or water stain. You may be able to just clean it up. Bill
manholt Report post Posted March 24, 2018 That kind of lens, is a snap in. Squeeze it towards opposite side and it should pop out.
hermanmullins Report post Posted March 24, 2018 Open the engine compartment and look behind the tail lights and see how they are mounted before you begin to pry on the lens. Herman
rcieslak67 Report post Posted March 24, 2018 I looked at the back of the tail lights and it looks like a sealed assembly, not sure I would have any access to the inside. I don't think the lens is made for prying off.
jleamont Report post Posted March 25, 2018 Probably screwed in from behind. Do you have access?
rcieslak67 Report post Posted March 25, 2018 Yes, I have access.
hermanmullins Report post Posted March 25, 2018 What you have may be tail lights from a pickup. To me they look like a Ram tail light turned up side down. If so you may have to replace them because most of the modern lenses are sealed units. Herman
campcop Report post Posted March 25, 2018 What make, model and year Mh do you have? Most RV taillights are from the automotive industry like Herman says. Most likely a sealed unit except for the plug in bulb.

wildebill308 Report post Posted March 27, 2018 See if there are any numbers cast into the plastic or the lense and do a search or call HR and ask. Bill
