manholt Report post Posted March 30, 2019 DB, do you have a built in computer in your coach? Like Silver Leaf. If you do, it's probably a fuse, if you don't, same. You'll find it behind your screen. Never heard of one wired in the steering column!
dbenoit Report post Posted March 30, 2019 I was guessing it was there because it would either get erratic or shut off when you turned the wheel or turn on signals. The sound still works for the rear when it goes blank. Let the extended warranty take care of it When they let me know what it was I will post in case it happens to someone else. I’m not sure what is controlling it.
manholt Report post Posted March 31, 2019 You might have a loos ground, or you had a mouse & now a bare wire, since it is affected by the turn signal. Have them look at what else has been chewed on in the harness. Mice/rats love soy wire coating!

richard5933 Report post Posted April 1, 2019 Guess temperature is all a matter of perspective - to us 38 degrees is a beautiful temp for first thing in the morning this time of year. We're at about 20 degrees right now.
manholt Report post Posted April 1, 2019 Yes. Your used to what we consider cold. I would not be a happy camper, where your at...

dbenoit Report post Posted April 1, 2019 I don't mention the temperature anymore.......the Texans will just brag along with the other southerners...lol...j/k Just got the call from the dealer, the coach would have been done today.......but there seems to be a recall that FR felt not to tell anyone. The seams on the roof. Are you kidding me! Ours don't leak but they told me it would take like 3 weeks. Not having the coach ready to go at a moments notice is like cabin fever x 100. Guess it's better safe than sorry. On another note, going on a 7 day cruise in 40 days.
wayne77590 Report post Posted April 1, 2019 Just 'cause I want to mention it, presently at 0846 hours it is 51 degrees. Tomorrow will only be about 70˚ and the in the mid to higher 70's for at least 10 day. I hate being below 70˚. Next year I'm heading South for the Winter. We always head North for the Summer. Not much time in the S&B.
manholt Report post Posted April 1, 2019 The 24th, we leave on a 16 day re-location cruise out of FL. Wish it was yesterday! When it's cold, Wayne & Brett are 10 degrees warmer, but when it's warm, we are 10 over them!
dbenoit Report post Posted April 2, 2019 So what do you think of Sargent, TX? As long as I can bring boat I'm game. Then I'll mention the temperature...lol.

Boating is about ALL you can do in Sargent, TX! Just east of East Matagorda Bay. We enjoy Placious (Serendipity RV Park which overlooks the marina).
manholt Report post Posted April 3, 2019 Brett, agree. Lot's more variety than Sargent. Just as a side note. John Denver had just built a home in Sargent & was planning to move there, when he died. He told & showed pictures of it at the pre opening, of the Rain Forest, in Moody Gardens, 1992. Last time I wore a Tux!

dbenoit Report post Posted April 16, 2019 When I called on Sat. they told me they are waiting for FR to send the resealing kit. It must be coming in by mule. I also will be getting a quote for that RV Armor coating for later. At least I am getting a lot of things done on the boat that I have put off. Started her up and she runs like a charm. All my fishing gear is in the coach. Got a 7 day cruise coming up 2nd week of May so I am not sure if it will be fishing or camping first.

If this goes like every other post I have read, you might want to do the RV armor now. I have heard where it takes months to get parts from FR. I sincerely hope this is not the case with your coach! Keep on them, might also warrant a call to FR customer support, so they understand you are not going to wait for them.
manholt Report post Posted April 17, 2019 RayIN, It works...not forever, but just spray the seams, every 90 days. I get the cans at Wall Mart.
dbenoit Report post Posted April 20, 2019 The mule from the FR still hasn’t made it to the dealers. They said maybe Tuesday, Ahhhh. I am so ready.
dbenoit Report post Posted April 25, 2019 Well the mule arrived from FR. Now I just need to motivate the dealer into some pronto install, but done correctly. My concern is that it didn't leak before and better not after. Hampton Beach opens for camping on Monday. Our favorite local place to hang.

dbenoit Report post Posted April 25, 2019 We really like Hampton State Park (1/2 hr away). Next week it is 1st come for a full hook site until late May. Can't get a F/H site during peak, so we always dry camp in the field during that time. We also like Danforth Bay (1-1/2 hr away) that's nice and can bring boat. The pond there has access to Lake Ossipee. When we go to Cape Cod I just park in my brother in laws yard which is on the water in Buzzards Bay. Use his boat and quahog license. Not far from Lake Winnipesaukee, where they have a great wooden boat show every year. We generally stay at Newfound Lake. May be there in a few weeks. jleamont Report post Posted April 25, 2019 That area is a new one for me. Drove past it up 95 many many times for work. Never knew of it’s existence. I’ll be headed past it again the first week of June, I’m headed to South Portland Maine for work.
