governancetest Report post Posted April 8, 2015 I am Shelley Herman F99628 of Burbank, CA. I was in USAF when it first began in 1951. I worked my way up to A3c (PFC). I was in a reserve unit that was activated because of the Korean war. As I was working on an Electronic Engineering degree and was pretty savvy about the subject, they made me a truck driver. I was stationed on an army base in Pueblo CO as part of a small USAF unit. Our job was to destroy unexploded ordinance that came back from the war zone. It was a bang up job. I never figured out why the didn't just drop it in the ocean. I did my job: No north Korean plane ever flew over Pueblo, CO! When we were out of Korea I was out of active duty. Six more years in the reserve.
