  1. Amazon has kwikee step parts. just type in kwikee step parts.
  2. I guess I'm confused regarding "provisions" for a cpap. I have been using one in a fith wheel, 2008 mh, and now the 2015 mh. The 2015 has a side shelf about the size of the cpap machine. I don't use the humidifier so just the CPAP portion itself. Plug it into the 110v outlet and away I go. If I loose power the inverter for the Mh kicks in and the CPAP doesn't even hiccup.. My CPAP is a 2007 vintage. I'm about to get a new one so don't know what I'll encounter.
  3. I always ask if the site is level. If I pull into one and it is "way" off I call the office and tell them it is not satisfactory. Same thing for length when I don't want to unhook. When reserving I always ask. A site that is only 1 or 2 degrees off level should be no problem, auto or manual. If the slope is from front to back of the MH, care, as stated, as to be taken to not lift the rear wheels off the ground. That is where the brakes are,
  4. This is what she had to say: Created on 10/22/23 I’ve had a pretty bad week and can tell you that I am being very positive. I woke one morning in Shipshewana the last week of September with excruciating pain in my back but managed to make it home 2 weeks ago today. I scheduled a visit with a spine doctor for the day after our return but it wasn’t until this past Wednesday that I had an MRI and on Friday received the diagnosis. I have a broken back. Meanwhile my primary sent me for a CBC on Monday and Tuesday morning an oncologist called me. My platelets and white blood count are way out of whack. I found out Wednesday that I have leukemia (AML). It’s caught early (last panel was in March and no issue). I had a bone marrow test at Methodist downtown on Friday. These Methodist doctors do not waste time, I tell you. I’ll learn more about course of action this week but have already started oral chemo. I’ve known people who had leukemia for 10 and 14 years (only two I’ve personally known with it and considering I was a pretty active old gal, I’ve begun this with a step forward). Obviously the broken back has brought me to my knees or should I say walker and back brace so walking is minimal. I’ve been on oral chemo since Friday and start a round of chemo infusions of Azacitidine this Monday. Sessions are for 5 days on, 28 days off, then rinse and repeat until my blood is back to normal. Yes, this came totally out of the blue. There were no symptoms or they were so slight as to be negligible. Needless to say, prayers will be greatly appreciated. ----------------------------- Yep, lots of prayers please Thanks Bill
  5. Since most read this thread, I'm going to post here.. For those who pray, some prayers for my wife of 62 years Earlene who has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Thank you.
  6. Some campgrounds give 10% discount to FMCA Members. Most important to us is the FMCA Assist program.
  7. It was probably him that flew when she booted him out of the RV!
  8. ROFL Missed you this year in Shipshewana. Hope by next year you have the MH fixed. We'll be in Shipshewana again next year, July 19-Oct 3. Come on up!
  9. OW! That pains me just thinking of it. I do know some that keep a complete set of duplicates in the MH, clothes, kitchen stuff, etc. My DW would be tossing out here blouses when we got to a destination and buying new. No way to wear the same stuff as last year! 🙂 You need to make a rule. Something comes in, something has to go out. (Hasn't worked for me either.)
  10. Thanks. My biggest grumble is loading up and unloading. Once on the road I'm okay. Mh is sitting in the driveway, it's been detailed, now just waiting for me to have the ambition to do some things in the bay. I was flushing the fresh water system and discovered I have a water leak at the pump filter. I'm sure it is simple. The filter screen was upside down and I turned it and that's when it started leaking. I'll attack it when the ambition comes back.
  11. Got in around 2:30 p.m.. Road were like all roads, good hear and there, bad here and there. Yep, nice to be home and glad to have the kids come mule for us. Earlene has been living with back pain since the middle of August and I popped my left hip a couple days ago. Ibuprofen is my friend. Woke up to 42˚ this morning in Carthage, TX, Ride home was nice with a road high of around 75˚. The engine liked that.
  12. I am on my way home from a Summer of being gone and I have to take the aerators out of the faucets and clean the sand. Going to do a good flush when I get home. Drives us crazy. If your kitchen sink has a multifunctional sprayer and straight line stream you can unscrew the head and clean the gunk out. There is also a filter on or near the water pump and is usually a screen and it might need cleaning but it would affect other faucets, not just the kitchen one. Also, DW was complaining about water pressure in shower. Last night I pried the restrictor out and OMG, water pressure again. I told DW that if the grey valve is closed she has to take "Navy" showers. Water on - get wet: Soap up: water on - rinse off: Done! More information than what you asked for, but what the heck.
  13. I would be very concerned that a rented generator is not providing the correct voltage on each "leg" of the RV, but producing 240 v which will bust things, considerably. The generator will have a ground and two 120v lines equaling 240v
  14. Wow! I don't know what to say. Just crazy. and you didn't get any venison out of the ordeal. Horrible!
  15. I had a PT-50 get water in it when the seal around the housing and cord leaked. Progressive was bought out by Power Products LLC in 2017. They honored the warranty and replaced it.
  16. Yep! We have turned the heater on twice so far this year but most of the time the fireplace takes the chill off. We leave here October 1st and going straight home with a day or two stop overs.
  17. i thought Ihad posted this yesterday but the computer minions didn't do it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Regarding crabs) Oh my, those look good. My mind is spinning with all the things I could do with them. Do you have an insulated box and some dry ice? This is our 4th year in Shipshewana Campgroound - South Park and we already have reservations for next year. Five years total in the area. Every time we go for a ride DW says, "I sure like it here!" There are a lot of soft pretzel places but Yoder's Red Barn has by far the best soft pretzel we have ever had, and the Rise 'N Roll bakery the best filled donuts, I call both of them a "crack house," Both places are keeping me in shape - round!
  18. Ws:ell, having something to post about would help me, How's this: Presently in Shipshewana, IN. We are "Sunbirds.
  19. Sometimes the pedestal will look like it is on but it is tripped. If you pull up on it to put it in the on position it should not move if it is on. If it is sponge, push it down then back up. If it is inside the RV, good luck tracing it.
  20. We are in Shipshewana, IN and right now it is a heat spell of 77˚. Come Tuesday morning it will be down around 55˚.
  21. Yep! Check the box get the sticker for he windshield in the mail. Good to go. Without the registration sticker you would be illegal. Don't know what ramifications that could have.
