  1. Did you call the manufacture with your serial number and see what they say? What are on it now? I believe it came with 245/70R 19.5G Bill
  2. You just know someone asked how do I tell if it is empty.
  3. That is charging voltage not battery voltage. Time to test the batteries. Bill
  4. Try some of the places outher than RV shops. When the dealer put the baseplate and wiring harness on my CR-V they used a 4 Wheeler shop. Bill
  5. Yes there is camping on the east side but the road in could be a challenge for some. I would use the toad to explore that area then if you want to go with your RV have at it. Bill
  6. Yes stayed there and at Glacier Meadow RV Park. Very basic place. West Glacier KOA Resort. There is also Moose Creek RV Resort, But I don't know much about it. Bill
  7. Have you looked at a map of Glacier National Park? The park is the going to the sun road. I recommend finding a campground on the West side. I would recommend doing a Red Bus Tour. They can take you and give great info. Bill
  8. I think it just depends on where you are travelling. Bill
  9. Look at it from the campgrounds point of view. You have people who make reservations then cancel at the last minuet. Now the campground has lost the revenue for that period. Campgrounds have become big expensive businesses and have improved the quality of their sites and services. They are not, for the most part the mom and pop operation they use to be. Well at least in the South /West. Lots of little campgrounds in the N/E. Bill
  10. How old is the unit? How was the power coming in to the pedestal? I have run into when the load increases in the park or on the system it will lower the voltage. I would do what Ross said. Bill
  11. All the complaining about lack of content and benefits proves what Curtis Coleman said. The FMCA needs to be run as what it is a non profit org. They have ben trying to use the methods of a "for profit" business and it isn't working. For instance when the magazine started having less profit they cut the staff so now there are fewer to sell advertising write/research stories. There is a 2 sided blade in that if you have a smaller circulation/fewer members you can't charge as much for advertising. Less adds mean a smaller publication. They need to grow the paid staff so they can improve benefits and services. This will help increase membership. The same goes for the IT department and all areas. Bill
  12. I had this great vision of you wearing a miners hat with the light. Yes try different sunglasses like five said. I think it is the polarized ones that cause the problem. Bill
  13. Catherine's Landing is a nice place we stayed there in April. Yes campgrounds besides being more expensive have added some new wrinkles. You better ask before you make a reservation. The latest one is a add on fee to make a reservation. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum. Just so you know your membership gives you a medical assist program not towing and roadside assistance. Bill
  15. Coleman is right on the money and correct when he says that FMCA needs to grow membership. I think there is a Big pool of potential members in the people who are working on the road. Some full time some part time. We should be adding services that add value to them. That would bring in a younger group. Coleman is right on the money and correct when he says that FMCA needs to be run like a non profit that it is and not like a for profit. We need more people experienced at growing non profit organizations. For example, when was the last time you recruited somebody new? Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. I would call The Ridge Outdoor Resort now and make reservations for Sevierville, TN. That is a great area. Can't tell you how to get there because you didn't tell us what RV you were travelling in and where you are coming from. Bill
  17. I have been there when some friends used it and it worked as stated.. But like all programs' read all the instructions and know what it will do and what you have to do. If I wasn't a member I would join just for that benefit as it is cheap compared to outher plans out there. Bill
  18. Jason, welcome to the forum. Yes it sounds like the electrical heating element is not working as it should. Most of those water heaters you can change the element. My experience is the electric element takes quite a while on good shore power to heat a tank of water. You said you were trawling so could your usage exceeded the recovery time on electric? Let us know what you find out. Bill
  19. Where are you located? I would call Safelite AutoGlass Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your new coach. Bill
  21. Welcome to the forum. Never heard of a Suzuki JoyPop kei van. I would look at the owners manual under under recreational towing. Let me know what you find out. Bill
  22. Quartz61, Just curious what is the scale weight of that Jeep? Bill
  23. That would be a good place to start. Bill
  24. What about the breaker the extension cord running to your 2003 Mountain Aire is plugged into? Bill
  25. Welcome to the forum. I would hook it up to the TV as the OP did to see if the screen is bad. Bill
