  1. It is 3 deg here now, was -4 this morning. Awesome weather. Go Pats
  2. My mouth is watering thinking of that beef roast or was it the mention of wine? Kay, Would you mind sharing a more detailed recipe? Thanks in advance.
  3. Bill, Yes you would know snow with 200" annually. That would actually qualify yourself as a snow professor. You had a pony tail when you were young? Just kidding, That was a test because I don't know if you like to kid around, guess I'll find out soon. Where I work we make the plastic for snowshoes.
  4. Being from PA you should be a seasoned snow driver just in case. March is a funny month around here. Pretty much like flipping a 2 headed coin...lol.
  5. We are going the last week of August
  6. For us northerners let's just brag about how much snow we got INSTEAD of how warm it is elsewhere...lol. We had 6" of it last night.
  7. I understand completely Richard. We used to live in Port Washington for a spell.
  8. We have one and think it is great. Check out the mac n cheese and chili sometime, it's wicked good.
  9. I know. I wish it were a month. Have to wait a few more years for that.
  10. We are doing all of our MH planning from spring thru fall. I got the fever so bad I might have to jump into the ocean for a rapid cool down. Water temp is about 37 deg F. I think that should do it.
  11. Wow. Both campgrounds recommended look excellent. I think we will do both NS and PEI. Seeing we will be in the area for 6 days. Thanks
  12. Thanks Ray. Cove looks good. I also read through 007's thread. This is going to be a fun trip. When I looked up directions they showed taking the ferry. We won't be doing that since we are driving there from NH. Too bad there is no caravan in August 2019 that I have heard of.
  13. Getting ready to get this party started. Any very close to ocean campground recommendations out there? Looks like August. Thanks, David
  14. Golf? I have a hard time getting the ball by the windmill blades.
  15. We traded for the GT and they sold the FR3 close to the price we bought it for.
  16. I received a strange call from Campers Inn in NC. They wanted to know if we wanted to trade in our 2018 FR GT369XL. Kind of strange. When I looked at there website for NH I see that there not many used MH's for sale. We are happy with what we have now so we were not interested. I should have asked what kind of a deal would you like to propose.
  17. Well it's tomorrow and its supposed to be in the high 50's. This weather is very weird in New England. I think mother nature is messing with me.
  18. All I do is keep making this cabin fever worse. I just called and made a service appointment for the MH in April. FR cheap repair for a recall, inspection sticker and fill the propane tank. I like talking about the cold so others will talk about the warm or close to warm. Sort of a cabin fever remedy.
  19. But it is a "dry" wind chill..........🌡️
  20. I like your thinking. Mas Tequila
  21. Sissy storm. 8" of snow and 2" of sleet. Temp. is 2 deg. My tractor snapped the tie rod end on the steering yesterday. Driveway is a mess. Looked at covered MH from slider and went into a dream. Poof...there goes that dream, DW says go shovel....
  22. I'd be using it in both fresh and salt water (bay). Most likely trolling, casting or jigging. Medium tackle. Chunk bait if not lures. Hmmm...cheese.
  23. This made me remember when I was a kid it the mid 60's we lived in CA and my parents took me to a bull fight in Tijuana. The bull didn't want to do anything and just stood there. They tried everything to get him to move. Then they sent a cow in I think to get him out of the arena. Anyways the bull was all over the cow center stage. My mother tried to cover my eyes. What is that bull doing to the cow? lol. I have it on a home movie we had transferred to a disc. SInce then I don't like animals being used for entertainment like that.
  24. I was looking at those. I need to find someone who has one around here to make sure it fits into one of the compartments before I buy one. A second option is about modifying a hitch to hold a small skiff standing up. I will not be towing the Whaler with the MH. If we have the toad I can just load it on the roof of that. Fishing from shore stinks especially when you have a nice boat sitting in the driveway.
