  1. We will probably check out the "Graniteers" as well. Thanks fer da link Bill. Lucia and I have the unofficial "Hampton Beach Field Camp" group, but its only us. We are usually there every other weekend if we are not RVing on the road. Only requirement is a wine glass, empty or full. If it's empty we will fill it. If it is full we will toast. David
  2. I got a present from Forest River. A recall notice, 1st one. The night shade for the windshield can just release and come down at anytime. Didn't happen but that must be a poop your pants experience. The fix is put some kind of back up security snap ??????? (Hack)
  3. I was just joking about Eric's place. I've been wanting to get back to TX for a long time. Looks like you have a nice spread. Oh forgive me, I almost forgot, Everything is big in TX. David
  4. We have been keeping the RV lot option open for a while, anywhere. Nothing yet has caught our fancy....or should I say the DW has the majority of the decision....... I'll follow this post. David
  5. https://www.rvproperty.com/rv-lots/rv-lots-for-sale/ Maybe this might help.
  6. My vents are Hengs. I got the direct replacement. I'll have to look into those airxcel. Actually have to look at mounting them. It's 20 here now. That's global warming>. But the sun is out. Thanks for the TX update Mr. Holt (I forgot your 1st name).
  7. I went on top of the MH to straighten out the cover and I broke the rear master bath vent lid. Geez, I didn't even step on it. My boot touched the side and I heard it crack. I already ordered a couple of them. I'm glad that the price is as cheap as the material it is made of. At least it broke on the side and it shouldn't leak. Maybe the "cold" made it extra brittle. Now I have to go out there, at whatever the weather is to replace it. This is our 2nd breakage. Both were small change
  8. I just read what is DEF and what it's composition is. Does it go in a separate tank? I could have looked that up to but I Iike the way you all answer
  9. I had the mice standing in formation at attention and gave them their orders that the MH is off limits, poof no mice..
  10. And here we go: Winter Storm Avery will impact the South, Midwest and Northeast late this week. Rain, snow or a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain are all possible precipitation types. This could lead to messy commutes and flight delays Thursday and Friday. Blistery temps in Texas around 65 deg. (I just has to add that in)
  11. But it is a dry heat........I spent 2 yrs at Ft Hood. I never B & C'd about the heat, just the crawly things.
  12. Mention the Texas temp say in 2 months...lol
  13. All I got left to do is the cover, but it's been raining like forever. Those Texans...always mentioning the temp. there throughout our winter season. Still need to cover boat and put plow and chains on tractor. Geez, we still got green leafs on the trees in my area.Should already be bare. Also the deer are like crazy running around, they do it all the time just before hunting season, then poof.
  14. No apologies needed RAYIN. Enjoy and embrace life with your loved one. I found my favorite flashlight in the compartment under the HW heater went I did the bypass. Been there since spring. Sorry DW for blaming you on taking it.....
  15. Oh Ya, she reminds us all the time. I'll have to look into Brookfields. We are all over the place. Family was like rabbits.
  16. Get well RAYIN's DW. Don't do ice fishing. Fell through when I was a kid (6), cousin grabbed me, yanked me out then stripped me because she read it in her girl scout book. So there I am balky bare on some pond shivering until someone got there with a blanket. The only ice I will do is "on the rocks"
  17. I think the clock is slowwww. 4 more years , lol, does that sound familiar?
  18. Ahhhhh. That time of year in New England. Plumbing all blew down, anti freeze going in tonight. Cover after that, then it's time for another cabin fever thread. David
  19. Back to Texas bugs. I found chiggers the hard way at Ft Hood. Then it was flea collars around the boots. My question is: What is with those locus bugs? I remember them everywhere at a certain time of the year. Then they all die and are piled up everywhere.
  20. All of you that have tow dollies....Do you have a spare tire for it? Just would like to know where you put it. In the toad? In the RV? Imma going to put it in the coach for now. There is not really a good place on the dolly itself. If you do have it mounted on the dolly, let's see a pic. David
