  1. I like your thinking. Mas Tequila
  2. Sissy storm. 8" of snow and 2" of sleet. Temp. is 2 deg. My tractor snapped the tie rod end on the steering yesterday. Driveway is a mess. Looked at covered MH from slider and went into a dream. Poof...there goes that dream, DW says go shovel....
  3. I'd be using it in both fresh and salt water (bay). Most likely trolling, casting or jigging. Medium tackle. Chunk bait if not lures. Hmmm...cheese.
  4. This made me remember when I was a kid it the mid 60's we lived in CA and my parents took me to a bull fight in Tijuana. The bull didn't want to do anything and just stood there. They tried everything to get him to move. Then they sent a cow in I think to get him out of the arena. Anyways the bull was all over the cow center stage. My mother tried to cover my eyes. What is that bull doing to the cow? lol. I have it on a home movie we had transferred to a disc. SInce then I don't like animals being used for entertainment like that.
  5. I was looking at those. I need to find someone who has one around here to make sure it fits into one of the compartments before I buy one. A second option is about modifying a hitch to hold a small skiff standing up. I will not be towing the Whaler with the MH. If we have the toad I can just load it on the roof of that. Fishing from shore stinks especially when you have a nice boat sitting in the driveway.
  6. Opps I almost forgot.....Go Patriots!
  7. Another Texan bragging about their weather.😎..........lol. I used to hang at Lake Travis in the 70's. Hippie Hollow! Is that still there? The only whine I'll be having is from the DW.
  8. I'm searching for a used inflatable now with like a 3-5 hp outboard. They ain't cheap. Then I need approval from my 1st mate, she always tries to be captain.
  9. It is 21 deg. right now, but it is a dry cold so it's not so bad.......lol. Let's see if we get buried with snow this weekend.
  10. I would be pushing 65'..... 38' MH, 21' Whaler, the rest is tongue and outboard. Oh ya and the extra 20' of paranoia.
  11. I once saw a new truck do that at the ramp. Lucky I just finished loading next to it. Good thing as the DEP closed down the ramp to contain the petro. OH and also the boat trailer jack knifed under the dock and trashed the motor. The dudes in the video didn't seem as worried as the dude I saw that was using his brothers truck.
  12. I figured out why I got the fever so early. I need to spread out the parking in the backyard next year or NEXT WEEKEND. I have the pool winterized, the MH parked behind it with the boat alongside. Look out the deck slider and you see it all grouped together. I immediately think of swimming, RVing and fishing at the same time. That is way to much for my brain to comprehend...lol Then I think of backing my boat down the ramp with the MH....NOT
  13. Crap!! I caught it again, early too. Doctor says "put the lime in the coconut".
  14. Anyone carry one around in their RV? I am thinking about it. I once saw a small outboard mounted on a rear ladder bracket for transport. Maybe around 8 ft long with a 4-10 hp. We do have room to store it. We do have a 21' Whaler but I can't pull that with the MH nor would I back it down a ramp. David
  15. You got that right. Bevo made that enclosure look like it was made of paper. Shasta is eating beef tonight!!!!!
  16. Most likely they will ban altogether live animals as mascots at sports games. Some teams already have. I'm glad the bulldog bolted pretty quickly. This could have been worse.
  17. I'm most certain that you Texas guys and girls, even me, loved that the Longhorns won the sugar bowl. What was even better is when Bevo the Longhorn went after Uga the Bulldog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jyFNKxH3xg Musta been the red sweater
  18. Off Topic: Story about bolts and glue....I was working on a machine one time and the head of a bolt just came off with hardly any pressure. Seems that the bolt was broken and someone just glued the head of the bolt on...lol. PIA to drill and tap that one out.
  19. I had everything laid out for August. Now the "queen" just mentioned PEI instead. Geez, she's killing me here.
  20. Tim The Mailman, What time of year were you thinking about? David
  21. What dates is the tour? I saw a couple listed.
  22. Bill The St. Stephen just over the border in Canada, maybe we should check out that Seaview you mentioned in Maine. We were thinking, just cruise right thru Maine. Also the Seabreeze is in Nova Scotia. http://www.seabreezecampground.com/ David
  23. We just planned this trip for Aug. 17th to 24th. Most likely stay at the Seabreeze. It's about a 12 hr drive from our house in NH. We will stop outside of St. Stephen for the night then continue. Wow, we are finally going to tow the toad on a dolly! Maybe "run" into some peeps from here. Let me see if I can find Tom's blog. (The only thing I can navigate is the boat) David
  24. It's a Rolling "Molly", a generic name used for a variety of bottle based improvised incendiary devices.
