We have stayed in the state park several times. They do have full hookups, but I think electric is 30 amp. They have sites to accommodate all sizes, but they are gravel not pavement. There is a long drive from the entrance to the campground, but the park is very nice. I have seen many deer and turkeys. It is not a KOA, but I stayed for two and half months once and the staff was very nice. Quiet and peaceful. A GPS may show that you can enter on the north end, but that entrance will not handle RV's-- use the south entrance. I have enjoyed my stays and would encourage you to try it.

I have traveled US-36 up the mountains from Longmont to Estes Park and down from Estes Park to Longmont. I suggest that the better route would be US-34 from Estes Park to Loveland. US-34 is the better route with a wider road and more pullouts. Use as low a gear as needed to minimize using your brakes, pullout often, and don't get distracted with the scenery.

I have not owned one, but a friend of ours has had two. They were very satisfied, just decided to change floor plans. I have been through the factory twice with a supplier of side and floor panels. The construction and quality is great. It is a small but very dedicated company. They take care of their customers. Hopefully, you will agree if you do purchase one.

Sorry, I was thinking roadside assistance. I have Camping World extended warranty, use to be Freedom Care. They have paid 4 claims that I have had, but sometimes we have had to have lengthly discussions before they paid.

Our 2006 Expedition has the same problem to an extent. When closing the valve the last few degrees of turn is extremely hard. Several times I have thought that I would break the handle. I have had the coach for 3 years and have lived in it 6 months a year. So we have used the drain valve often. If I do break it, I will replace it with a large brass ball valve.

I can tell you what I did in our past two coaches. If you will be using the lamps in the same location all the time, they can be permanently mounted. Lowe's and Home Depot have parts for lamps. I bought a long threaded lamp rod. Drilled a hole through the top of the furniture or cabinet and extended the rod through with a lock washer and nut below. The wire will need to be extended out of the rod. I was able to install an additional outlet in the cabinet for the lamp and could use the other half of the outlet to charge my phone. I don't have any pictures, but we have not had any trouble at all with this installation. If you need additional information send me you phone number, and I be will happy to help.

Look to see if you have a valve that enables filling your fresh water tank. If that valve is in the FILL position, the pump can never build pressure.

Just had to call to have our auto towed to repair shop. Call took about 5 minutes. The Coach Net rep called me back in less than 10 minutes stating that the tow truck would be on site within 30 to 45 minutes. The truck picked up our auto in 26 minutes and was on his way to the service shop of my choice. Total time about 41 minutes, not bad. This is the 4th time I have had to use Coach Net, 3 times for auto and once for the coach. All were positive experiences.

I am currently using a Verizon wireless MIFI that will connect 5 wireless devices. While it isn't unlimited, I have never gone over the 5gb per month. I use it a lot for surfing and emails, but do not download movies. When this contract runs out and since I have an iPhone with AT&T service, I plan to add their data service for $20/mo. The iPhone will work the same as my current MYFI. Possibly one of these two solutions will work for you. -
We have found that we are watching Direct TV less and less since digital local TV broadcasts, but of course that depends on how close you are to the stations. Picture quality is much better. We are using the new Winegard with a Wingman. The amplifier in the antenna is better that the older units.

Not sure of your location, but if you are near Elkhart, Indiana, both Atwood and HWH have install locations. Sullivan RV in Decatur, Indiana (just south of Fort Wayne), has been a quality repair facility for Fleetwood and other manufacturer's motorhomes. They were able to rebuild one of my Atwood jacks at much less than replacing with a new one. www.sullivanrv.com I have had two coaches with HWH. One was an automatic configuration and the other was a manual joy stick control. Both worked well, but I did have to replace one jack (@122K miles) and two hoses (@32K miles). HWH furnished the hoses, but I had to pay for the jack. Our coach with Atwood jacks has had one jack rebuilt($550) and the control module($512), @54K miles.

I have purchased this insurance, but did not have to file a claim. I did hear that in the first month of offering, a claim was paid for $23,000. But of course, we do not know any details to protect the privacy of the individual.

My local dealer that sells both Goodyear and Michelins states that you should use two load ranges lower than specified using Michelins, because the side walls are not as strong. So if "G" is specified, that would mean to go to "I."

We traveled south on the Cassiar highway early September last year. Northern third was rough asphalt, but the southern two thirds was great. The only black bear we saw on our whole trip was about half way. Don't miss the indian village on the sothern end. Great culture site.

Back to the issue of the batteries and slow slides. The coach manufacturer for our coach states to have the engine running; therefore, the voltage from the alternator is about 13.8 volts when operating the jacks or the slides. I have on occasion turned the ignition switch on without starting the engine to operated the slides, and they do move slower. You might try running the engine at the same time just to see if that "cures" the problem as a test.

Just want to let you know that I really appreciated having a member of FJ/Pilot being so candid and answering questions on the Pilot Flying J Transactions thread. Hopefully, more commercial members will do the same. If there is anyway we can encourage this, we should do so.

The INTO rally is sponsored by the International Area, one of FMCA's 10 area associations. Attendance my be 150 to 250 coaches. There will be entertainment, vendors and seminars. Excellent camping facilities. Madison, FMCA's international convention -- now called Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase -- will be similar to Perry, but possibly larger since this is the first time we have been there. Attendance should be 2,500 to 3,000 or more. Probably 1,000 display coaches, a full buildings of indoor vendors, nightly entertainment, and 18 or more seminars each day. Electric is available at an additional charge. If you are looking for a rally that is about 800 coaches, you might consider Great Lakes Area Spring Spree (GLASS) over Memorial Day weekend (May 26-30). GLASS is located in Berrien Springs, Mich., about 35 miles north of South Bend, Ind., just off US 31. The display coaches will be about 100 to 150, 200 to 300 indoor vendors, and four nights of entertainment. Some meals are provided and there is an optional meal package. There will be dry camping with 30-amp plug but do not count on running air conditioners or heaters; water close to be able to fill up and then disconnect; and a dump station. More details on the rallies are in the Family Motor Coaching magazine for all of these if you want to know more. Or possibly, like us, you may decide to attend all three.

I have only used Roadmaster on the 4 autos that I have installed base plates/adapters, but the instructions were very complete with step by step and color pictures. Usually took 3 to 4 hours. Standard end wrenches(some are metric now), no air tools, but you do need a torque wrench to be sure that the bolts are tighten correctly. Wiring is another issue. Takes much longer. Every vehicle is different on how to route wires. Suggest that you use the double diodes from Roadmaster. Also, add the Bright Lite adapter. All diagrams are on the web site that Brett gave you for Roadmaster. Only once did I have to call their customer service, excellent response.

Probably, there is an electrical load present when the ignition switch is on. If you have access to a DC amp meter, try pulling one fuse at a time to issolate which one will eliminate the load. I found on our towed one fuse that powered the dash that had 2.5 amps load all the time the ignition switch was on. Made a switch and fuse combination so I didn't have to pull the fuse, just turned off the switch. -
At least for breakfast, I like the Dennys. But price of Pilot fuel compared to nearby other brands offsets the cash price using your credit card + 2 or 3 cents discount. I have found that I can usually get into some shopping center fuel stops with my coach, because diesel is usually on the outside lane and the price is as much as 17 cents less per gal.

One item that I do not care for is when I open a post, the display goes to the bottom of the last one. I think I remember that the display use to be at the top of the first one.
