  1. I wash mine myself in our driveway. I plan on two hours and a lot of that time is spent drying it. When traveling I take my chances and use Blue Beacon. Best deal is when we go to the Texas Valley and get the motorhome and Jeep washed and waxed for $125.00. Somebody mentioned using Tide; be aware that Tide can remove the wax/polish.
  2. "I feel that if I or anyone else can't afford to drive their rig where they want to go, they either don't need to go there, or don't need to own that rig." Kay said. Exactly.
  3. Mark, have you ever been in a class A diesel pusher? If you haven't then I understand you not getting it but if you have you are clueless on how airbags work. Stop trying to regulate a class of vehicle that you have no experience with and its evident you have little to no knowledge of. I'm finished with this foolishness. You guys enjoy the thread; I'm going to work on a biodegradable mattress to be used for driver and passenger protection. The people in the back of the bus are on your own. Regulate on....
  4. Oh come on Bill, just admit it - you're so strong you could drive in a wind tunnel.
  5. Heck yeah....2005 Wrangler TJ, lifted and all that stuff for off roading and a 2016 Wrangler JKU for mall crawling. If you expect to receive royalties from Callyfornia sells, the airbag will definitely need to be eco-friendly. Wildebill is hung up on a memory foam.
  6. I did a Google search for the product. Went to that website. Highlighted the website address. On my Mac, I clicked command C which copied the address. Came back to this thread and in the reply area clicked command V which pasted it. I hope I didn't confuse you even more.
  7. You can modify a coach that handles poorly, been there done that with the last one. You should only do it after making sure the alignment is set properly, 4 corner weights have been established, tire pressures are set to match the weight's and there is no mechanical defect first. We keep saying the same thing yet the recent OP has never responded.
  8. ESC is for traction and yes I have it on my Jeep.
  9. Wildebill asked some very important questions and since you didn't respond to him I'll ask again. 1. Have you had the wheel alignment checked? 2. Have you weighed the coach, preferably each corner with it loaded for travel? Full water, full propane, full fuel, food, clothing and the 500 pounds of stuff we carry and never use. 3. Are you inflating the tires to the recommended pressure according to the weight they are supporting. I have a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder DP and I'm not bothered by trucks, now 30-40mph cross wind is a different story. I would be curious to hear from steering stabilizer users if they help in severe cross winds.
  10. Here ya go.... http://www.shopwurthusa.com/wurthstorefront/Chemical-Product/Adhesive-and-Bonding/Glues/Rubber-Molding/Rubber-Moulding-Glue-6-3Fl-Oz-Can/p/0890100015
  11. Mark, Mark, Mark, its not my opinion to live in Texas, its my desire. Its not my opinion to drive and tow a Jeep Wrangler, its my desire. My opinion would be Texas is the best place for me to live and my opinion would be towing a Jeep Wrangler gives more flexibility. Please don't get desires, needs and wants confused with opinions. Have a great day and watch for those driver-less cars and no I don't need an electric powered motorhome. But, I may need a queen size mattress installed on my dash.
  12. Interesting....we used it for 20 years in our autobody shop and never had a complaint.
  13. You didn't hit a nerve with me either, Mark. I recommended to you on another thread to accept the fact that we all have our opinions and just because they don't agree with yours does not make them wrong. Since I don't live in California, I have a concern with all the government overreach that is being pushed by some. You poor people are regulated on almost everything and thats fine, just don't mandate it on the rest of us. I'm still giggling over the queen size mattress blowing out of the dash. Surely they would require that be a pillowtop.
  14. Herman, I bet we could sell tickets to watch that procedure. That would need to be one heck of a fork lift.
  15. A lot of what you're proposing Mweiner, is more government regulations. In my opinion and its only my opinion, we have far too many government regulations today.
  16. Bill, the Newell that you're talking about was owned by Rusty Wallace and according to a friend of mine it is now sold. He called to make an offer an was told it was sold. Talk about bells and whistles, it had them all.
  17. Good morning, Mark. Just as an observation, you are a new energetic, enthusiastic member of the forum and we welcome you, however, I suggest you take a deep breath and realize each and every member has their on personal knowledge whether it be from experience or some other manner and we all have our personal opinion regarding whatever the subject is. We each have the right to write that opinion as long as its not a personal attack. Bill A was only stating his opinion, you can choose to agree or disagree and if anothers opinion offends you just don't read it. The forum mod's try to control any post that is of a personal attack. There is a wealth of knowledge available on this forum and some of the knowledge will presented as opinions, you can choose to agree or disagree but try to not be offended.
  18. I was visiting with a motorhome owner today and asked him if he is a member of FMCA, he is. He then proceeded to vent about allowing towables when I finally realized he thought "towable" meant his toad. He kept saying he has had a towable since owning his motorhome and thought almost all members had one. He just couldn't understand why it was an issue. I don't know how the ballot will read but it may be interesting how this all plays out.
  19. Fagnaml, are you sure you don't have an inverter/charger?
  20. There are none to be had in the Conroe/Lake Conroe area, Herman; I recently checked for my friend. He is on a wait list at Tall Pines for a 50 or 100ft, whichever comes available first. Of course its an hour north of his home but I think he must be on every wait list within 50 miles of his home. He is considering buying an unrestricted lot and building a building.
  21. I suggest you start with Google and be prepared to have your name placed on a waiting list, there aren't many 45-50ft enclosed units in the Houston area. I have a friend in northwest Houston who needs a 50ft unit and has been looking for over a year. Good luck.
  22. See the the last three last posts prior to yours.
  23. What Wayne said. Their customer service is exceptional.
