  1. Welcome to the forum. Check out this link to the Circle K fuel program. https://fmca.com/fuel-discounts
  2. Just arrived in Gillette for a tri chapter rally with the Elks, Military Veterans, and the Full Timers.
  3. You can use Costco, Sam's Club, Wallgreens, and CVS. The membership clubs with a pharmacy have to let you get prescriptions there because drugs are a federal controlled substance. Same for hard liquor, you can buy without having a membership. Problem is that most store managers do not know about the liquor part and might not let you purchase
  4. We have friends that were registered in Texas for 8 years and never set foot there since the beginning
  5. What is the voltage on your chassis battery bank? i would also have both house and chassis banks load tested. Just because the voltage is there, doesn't mean the battery can carry a large load.
  6. Since you are in WA, call Roadmaster and get a bid from them. I had them do an install on one of my Jeeps and it was reasonable.
  7. The Governing Board book can be found HERE. It is available to anyone
  8. Here you go. Roadside Assistance
  9. To get answers to to where the money goes, you can go to the governance area here on the website and check two places. One is the National Treasurers area and then to the FMCA Governing Board area. There you can download the GB booklet that has the treasurers report and a pie chart (pages 4-7) that shows where the money goes and then the proposed 024 budget. Interesting reading for sure
  10. Also check the age requirements. Some programs will shut you off once you reach a certain age. The Assist program has no age linitations
  11. The three that I know of, one was because of a stroke and needed transfer for better care. Number two was transportation to return home due to terminal cancer that went south in a hurry. She passed a couple of weeks after transport. The third was to transport big dogs, grandkids and motothome home because the driver had a heart attack,. Assist paid for a family member to drive the coach with the kids and dogs were all family. Normally, passengers are not allowed in the transported vehicle. In these cases, there were no complaints. In the wife of one felt she was in good hands because of the stress of making things happen was relieved.
  12. Welcome to the forum. As far as apps go, I use RV Parky and Park Advisor to check out campgrounds. We also belong to Passport America. Routing is done with good old paper maps with a GPSr backup. Do not fully trust a GPS, they should be used for amusement purposes only . I do trust it in aircraft because of nothing but straight line routes and there are no dead end streets
  13. I personally know of three people that have used the program with zero issues. I did a FMCAssist seminar at the Northwest Area rally and a woman stood up and extolled the program and how it worked. Don't remember all the details but she was flown in a Lear jet with a flight nurse to her destination
  14. Welcome to the family. A couple of things to check: If you have an outside shower, make sure both the hot and cold valves are turned off. If you have a winterization kit, make sure the valves are in the correct position. On the water heater circuit board, remove all the electrical connectors and reconnect
  15. For information about Roadtrek International, here is their website http://www.roadtrekchapter.org
  16. Welcome to the forum. I have never heard of a JoyPop but it sounds like a frozen treat to me.
  17. Check the breakers on your inverter. It is a pass thru and could have tripped.Welcome to the forum Lawrence
  18. Welcome Bruce. We will be on the Sol Duc river in a couple of weeks before heading towards Gillette
  19. I would go with the chassis manufacturer and contact them. Fleetwood bought an already assembled chassis so they did not install shocks. Someone here with a Fleetwood is sure to answer. It would help if you could list year, model, and chassis number of you have it.
  20. Ernie, I have been in banned camp a few times myself. Join the club
  21. "Don - I think you meant to write - wire the alternator to the chassis batteries." Yes, I meant to say that. Don't know which was working faster, brain or fingers. Probably fingers. When it came time to replace my batteries, the cost of two 8D AGMs which would give me 500 amp/hr with about 300 useful was very close to the cost of 400 amp/hr of lithium. A single 8D AGM weighs 162 pounds, the weight of my lithium is 90 pounds. I separated the house from the chassis. Charge the chassis with alternator and the lithium with a 40 amp dc 2 dc charger. I also have 760 watts of solar
  22. Getting further away from the DFW area was a good move

Welcome to the forum. There are a number of GPS units available. In my opinion, Garmiin is the best. Lots of different models with lots of features so look on the Garmin site to see what fits you best. They can be purchased on line from cheaper sources. People complain that their GPS led them down a cow path so do not ever trust one 100%. I jokingly tell people that a GPS should be used for amusement purposes only. I do trust the one in the plane but we are going in straight line only, not navigating a city
  24. Is this a rear radiator or side? The amount of coolant looks like it could be a hose but I don't think there would be a hose behind it. Any way to get a look on the backside?
