  1. I have been one who advocates being self insured. Put what they charge for that insurance policy in the bank so you can fix any small problem. If you don't have any big problems you will have money left over. Bill
  2. I have had coaches with and without. I will never go back to a coach with no slides. Remember on forums you only hear about problems, you never hear about the thousands of coaches that work perfectly. Bill
  3. Better to have that done, and get a all wheel alignment, before you hand over the money and sine that paperwork. You have much more leverage with the check in your pocket. Bill
  4. I was looking at Gas Buddy and even though PA may have higher taxes the prices aren't all that bad. I found Diesel for under $3.00 and like other places you can pay more. I will be buying Diesel right after I get back in US I found it for $3.09 much better than $1.249 a liter. Bill
  5. I am trying to understand item 3. "Earlier, over the phone, the technician said he checked out the tail light wiring (the TrailerMate harness with built in diodes) and found no problem. He said he really didn’t know what caused my initial problems, but he suspected the tail light wiring was overloading a circuit (when both the RV signal and CRV signal hit the same circuit)." How can that happen, you are either using the CR_V signal or the coach signals. How can you activate both at the same time? It will be interesting to see if it repeats. Bill
  6. Well did you check the temperature at the faucets in the coach? Bill
  7. When the battery got low on my 2012 Civic I would have a similar problem. It would clear up after a few miles driving all the abs lights and other lights would clear. I never had the problem with the transmission. I am wondering what they will report as the problem. I have run the battery down on my 2014 CR-V First time towing in a heavy rain for a extended time. No problems or warning lights I just put the charger on it while I finished setting up. Never had it not start even after longer time before starting. Bill
  8. Brett is right, use gas buddy and you can find the lowest prices. I used it today to find diesel at 1.159 L hear in Quebec, I had seen it as high as 1.229 L. I know the conversion is 1.05669 to quart but $4.636 per 4 liters reminds me of last year to much. Bill
  9. C012924, Welcome to the forum. You might have a problem getting one in a rural area but I don't see how it would be any different than a flat on the front? Bill
  10. lylefikse, I recommend you check the water temperature in the hot water heater with a good infrared thermometer. Bill
  11. Rich, good point I was thinking about the inside shower too but it didn't type that way. I had a problem with the lever on the winterizing valve. Last summer I had to bypass the hot water heater so I could put water on the coach. When I moved the lever it didn't completely close the valve. Finley found the lever was slipping on the valve stem. I was having the same luke warm water problems. Bill
  12. Well I count 3 levels of supervision. counting the supervision from Dianne. Bill
  13. Next check that your outside shower is completely shut off. Bill
  14. Brett should set up a cleaning station. I would kick in beer as required. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. You should be able to find what fuse powers the hands free system or you can run a charge line to keep the battery up. Bill
  16. Check the position of the bypass valves. If the bypass valve(for winterizing) is not closed it will let cold water mix in with the hot. Bill
  17. I am wondering why don't you take it to the dealer after all it is under WARRANTY why are you trying to fix it yourself. Bill
  18. A side radiator would make it easier. I would need a very slow pump on my rear radiator coach and I don't have the expert supervision from Dianne. Bill
  19. I would sell that one and buy one with brakes. I would not tow a dolly with out brakes. I towed a dolly for two years. Your stopping distance is shorter with brakes on the dolly. Would you rather stop five feet before the car that stopped in front of you or five feet after you hit that car? Bill
  20. I understand what you are saying, but how long did you run the old belt you took off? Now how long before you might have to use it? I would rather have that aged but new belt. Bill
  21. I have always wondered about the wisdom of keeping a belt that you changed because you no longer trust as a spare. This would mean you will have to change it twice. Once because the one on the coach breaks and later to replace the used belt that you didn't trust. I keep a new spare so if I ever have to change it I only have to do it once. Bill
  22. Michael, on the start switch on the generator, press it toward the off-prime. It will flash a code. Look in your owners Manuel page 47 for a description of how to interrupt the codes. If you don't have a copy you can down load one from Quick serve. you should have your engine serial number and your generator serial number. https://quickserve.cummins.com/qs3/portal/index.html?message=esnupdated Bill
  23. Michael, Have you ben able to pull any codes from your generator? Bill
  24. How is what you did on a 1988 gasser relevant to the op post on his 2003 diesel pusher? Bill
  25. Try the link now. Call FMCA you can do it over the phone. Bill
