Yes. That's a small blessing, as I replaced mine at same time...parts at Home Depot, Ace, True Value or Low's! I don't care for plastic, so anything that I replace in water compartment is now brass or SS.

As Brett said and I'm one of the people that don't like to waste water, so I use HP 3% (Hydrogen Peroxide). My water hose is on a reel, so I drag it all out 4 times a year, making sure its empty, then I pour a quart HP 3% in and connect to water, just enough to fill hose and let it sit for 15 minutes...during that time I pour in a quart of HP in fresh water tank that is about 1/4 full and let it sit for 15 minutes. Linda will turn on the water faucet while I open the faucets inside for 5 minutes and let sit for 10. We do the same for fresh water tank...there is no reason to flush anything from system and dump, as quite often if we have run out of Listerine (not an advertisement) we use HP 3% as a mouth wash!

Joe. You say his year coach, OK it's a 2011, but his chassis is probably a 2010 or earlier! All depends upon his build date and/or when Fleetwood got the chassis ordered and built. For an extreme example, they have been building the 2019 Liberty & Marathon coach now.

Your ignition switch may not be breaking contact when turned off...turn on it works, off it's still on. I would pull the switch.

Welcome. Bill. That works fine for hitch. I don't like the Blu-Ox riser, so for mine, I had it made by a metal shop...less than $100....my jeep runs 35" tires with a 3" lift and I like my Roadmaster to be as level as possible.

Why did you shut down? Does your owners manual tell you to find a safe area to do the regeneration? I have a 2010 AC Tradition and my regeneration comes on about every 3,000 miles and I keep the coach running on cruise control for the 15 minutes that it takes. My number 1 & 2 exhaust, goes back and forth between 750 - 1,200 degrees. When finished it drops back to 450 - 600 depending on Ambient temperature! I never have to shut it down!!!

rpelatt. That's why I asked for substantiated information! All I got was "Catch 22" ! When I became a member the first time, I gave my DOB, as a A member the same and as a F member again the same...had I known that something like this was coming, I would not have given my DOB. Where FMCA gets the numbers from, is probably a base known age....low, high + they know the month and year that a F # was issued.. Today, with all the computers, Internet and reporting agencies that are available...you can get all the info you want. Legal? Yes. Immoral? Possibly.

Ken and Joe. As noted, a lot of the exterior lights are done by the Coach Manufacturer...Fleetwood. They are the ones (Tech Dept.) who can best answer your questions and give you a fix!

Roland. You'll get no argument from me...a favorite place from late March to October is Ruidoso, NM., Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Sonoma, AZ. Any where in Northern CA. The problem is Jan, Feb and early March...during those months, I like Florida, Alabama Shores, Miss. coast, LA and Texas! Happy?

Ken. Do you have access to look behind the UPS and look for any cracks or missing solder on the circuit board? Thinking you may be getting feed over from M2 or D1. But then your problem could also be from your tow harness...the wire for your toad tail/break lights.

On one of my many drives out West, Dad took me to the L.A. Auto Show and I saw a 1967 Winnebago and bought it...got to pick it up 3 days later and drove it back to New Orleans. Had a great time on my days off, traveling all over Texas and New Mexico....when you work in the bayous of LA., anywhere away from swamps will do on your 7 days off ! 18 months later I sold it. Could not take it to Stavanger, Norway for 6 year contract on a drilling rig. In, 1977 I was back home in Texas and got a used 1973 Landau, followed by a 1981 Apollo 3000, Apollo 3300, 1987 Barth, 1997 Allegro, 2002 Southwind, 2006 Southwind, 2007 Winnebago DP, 2011 Allegro Bus and my current 2010 American Coach 45 foot. Without a doubt I LOVE the lifestyle and put an average of 14,000 miles a year on my coach! I'm a member of 5 different Chapters, National Director, 2nd VP of Lone Star and Golf Captain of FMCA Six State....Life can't get any better than this! I'm not full time, just take the time...beats sitting on a couch at 74+! On my next one, I'll paint "Never Satisfied" across the front...

I'm not trying to or attempting to get argumentative on this issue, but for the benefit of all FMCA members, why will no one substantiate the claim? Anybody can throw out numbers, but if you can't or won't substantiate it...then all it is, is just numbers and have zero meaning! I'm currently at FMCA Six State Rally. Both Jon Walker and "Rett" Porter is here. I suspect that one or both off them will supply what I'm requesting.

We keep hearing about claims going up, with increase of Motor Home members only....anything to substantiate that? Just trying for hard facts, have never seen any.

Joe, you might reconsider getting a 24 foot trailer. You'll be close to 70 feet long and that's 5 feet over the length limit in most States! The Aspire is 42 foot 9 inches, 3 foot hitch and 24 foot trailer!

Where the 2 of you get the idea that I don't have insurance, is beyond me! All I said, is that I self insure for extended warranty...that was the OP's question.
