  1. colthoff. Welcome to the Forum! I presume that's the model, who makes it? Also, what does your owners manual say about being towed? If it say's no to 4 down, then call Remco....they may have a solution!
  2. Ray. Your lucky. Do you still carry the magnet?
  3. I have never seen or heard of a leveling system that also controlled the slide out/outs from the same touch pad. I just scan thru the link and saw no ref. to a slide out on any of the schematics!
  4. Think the NO COLD would not even make for good anchorage! POS...Value = Zip! To think that their still putting that fire hazard in new coaches..sick.
  5. I know, I did....along with all that asbestos's and lead paint. Drank water out of a garden hose also & that thing that was supposed to make you go blind !
  6. I will not say that I'm Sane, therefore I'm not Insane!
  7. A thousand Thank Yous, doesn't cover half, of what you did and wrote!
  8. Brett. I will agree that is probably what happened...I also still wonder why no one got cut from the magazine that is not cost effective, now that we have digital.
  9. Blake. Howdy, where have you been? It was a KOA about 40 years ago. Yes they did have a fire some years back. Alzafar Shriner RV Club, used to have their Christmas Rally there until 2 years ago...then we moved to Alamo Park in Bourne (now new owners and no more short term, 6 months minimum) and this year it's Skyline Ranch RV Park in Bandera! Linda and I will be at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort, Kerrville this Thursday for a rally! Then on to Three Rivers for Thanksgiving....her Ranch!
  10. Fred. Welcome! Hydrogen Peroxide, any drug store, home improvement, big box store or Farm & Ranch. I get it at Wall Mart, 99 cents a quart. I also have it in a spray bottle, to apply on scraps, cuts and stings!
  11. Thought I would bring this up: When I'm travelling around in the Spring, Summer and Fall, I don't carry rubber, wood or anything else to park on! Would be skeptical if any of you did. Now, if you live in a area where you have bad winters and store your coach for months at a time, You do need some kind of barrier! In the Summer, I stay in one RV park in CO. for 6 weeks and I cover my tires, but I'm parked on gravel and yes, it rains and occasionally we get snow and sleet....I'm sitting on gravel. Has not hurt my tires yet....I get new ones every 6/7 years, even if I don't see any cracks on side wall (it's the ones I don't see that I worry about)! Let's be careful to not OVER THINK THIS !
  12. Joe S. We are the Government, we are here to help you...trust us! (rape you)
  13. Tommy. Welcome to the forum! Where are you coming from, other than East? There is a lot of real estate between Orange, Texas and San Antonio! When you get to the boarder, pick up a hard copy of TACO (free) or get on line before you leave, still get the magazine, a lot of discount coupons in there!
  14. Thank you, that is much needed information that will help now. Also, others in the future!
  15. On the other post, they are doing what you suggest....no luck, just "We have no clue"! Apparently senior management forgot to let everyone below them, know about the deal with FMCA!
  16. Joe. Can you use it for bad breath? In the event it don't do as advertised. Benzene is flammable and also listed as explosive, so is anything with naphthalene in it. I was born in Europe during WWII and grew up there...the vapors from moth balls had no long term effect on me, my Mother or Father...I mean how else do you store wool !
  17. It's not unlimited data...it's 25GB for a billing cycle! "Unlimited Data", where did you get that info from? Do you have a link?

    Double Coin Tires

On my Jeep Wrangler I'm on my second set of 35" Nittos and all 4x4 outlets and Forums I have checked out, list Nitto as the top 3 for on/off road. Not cheap, you get what you pay for, I don't like the thought of being at 12,000+ feet in the middle of the San Juan Mountains with more than one blown tire!
  19. You can get it at: Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon and E Bay! Best price is Amazon and Home Depot.
  20. Hope you had some help in WA. Hard to care for pets of any kind, with a broken anything! Good Luck on your Journey!
  21. Ditto that...my hands aren't any different than most of you and muscle mass is going South! Easy 10 years ago...
  22. Welcome. Well done, it goes better with practice. I do mine in March and your right about saving a lot of $$$$ by DIY! I have a side radiator, so I do mine from laying on my back...I wear an old dive mask and TYVIK coveralls that I get at the paint store and rubber maid gloves that Linda tapes over wrist....Still get dirty. I use a steam power sprayer.
  23. Since your in the same climate as Winnebago, I would call them to find out what they do and recommend. There are several times that I have been in the white stuff and below 20 degrees, I don't make a habit of it, but what I have done is open a vent about an inch, same with a window. Also in winter I carry a recirculating oil heater inside coach, looks like the old fashion register and turn it on after the Aqua Hot has got coach to the temp I want. Don't forget to turn on a celling fan or you can use a small floor fan, I use both with AC and Heat.
  24. smithy. Your correct, but then FMCA went shopping for another provider and came up with one in South Dakota....who now is out of business and FMCA is also not in that business any more! RIGHT?
  25. Catch-22? Having read both Posts, it seems to me that everyone is getting the run around. Verizon should be ready to go on this...or did FMCA pull the trigger too fast again?
