  1. Herman. As Bill said. At 30hp, he's not moving fast ! Sorry JC, could not help myself... JC. I accidentally hit N once, while moving, around 10mph. Stopped and put on parking brake, then turned off engine for 30sec. restarted and released brake, hit D and away I went. I had not gotten on to I-10 in Houston yet, when it happened...the Manufacturer rep. was not happy! My first experience with an Allison! Carl
  2. Are you referring to the A$$ thing?
  3. desertdeals. I had a 2007 Chevy 2500, 4x4, Duramax, with the 2500 Allison 6 gear. Bill, your right, saw it, but did not want to say anything...figured he had enough on his plate! Sorry, no ref. intended...where still working on this!
  4. It was bound to happen! Jim, that's a first for me, and I will give it a try! Will that work on collard Greens also? I also, am a big fan of fried okra, not pre battered commercial. I use stone ground corn flour, fry them in real butter. Drain on a rack and add to a bowl with some Trappey's! Carl
  5. Well, all we can do now, is wait and see if OP comes back on with update, after the fact. Jim. Same as I read today! Carl
  6. So that's how "Big Brother" does it...cute! There's even an Automatic setting...Smoke and Mirrors! Carl
  7. The 1 oz, is for maintaining...you need 2 or 3!
  8. One can should do it, for 4 gal. of fuel. that will give you 4 to one ratio! Carl
  9. Gramps, looked at your last 4 months of the year. There is a FMCA Chapter called the Swinging Golfers and for 3 years, we spent a week in the regular Campground next to you, every September. Very nice place you call home, great folks in the Galax area and I hope the club comes back again in the future. Some great golf also, music and food! So, thanks for bringing back some nice memories! Carl
  10. How do you get "red" type? Only red I have seen, has been from FMCA on Forum. We get normal, they get "Big Brother" Red ! Carl
  11. That explains, why you can run most any Hwy out there! I would not attempt 13 to Rifle in my current 45 foot, I don't articulate as well as you, a 18 wheeler or tow behind.! Carl
  12. Brett...it does get a tad boring every once in awhile. Especially when the OP is never heard from again! I believe we ran out of subject matter on the FMCA Food Forum! Carl
  13. I'm totally surprised that we have not been shut down, yet ! Still think the best way to sanitize the water system is HP 3% ! The cutting board, with Vodka! One squirt on board, one in mouth.. The BBQ team I'm on thought me that...we don't get food poisoning and we have a great time (hick) cooking!
  14. If we where to make hard copy of every page we have written on this, it would go half way around the world!
  15. Same here. My coach did not come with one inside. Had an LED installed and it was a + and - connection. On mine, the Tech set it to the hours on the Generator (I'm second owner), that was easy also, he used a paper clip to push in to each number, even the tenth! Changed out all inside lights with LED at same time. The meter's been going now since November 2013. Carl
  16. Hwy 789 from I-80 becomes Hwy 13 when you cross into CO, stay on 13 to Rifle, CO. that's I-70. I have taken it in reverse, had no problems with it...mostly one lane and very scenic in CO. What happened to OP?
  17. Oops! Was wondering why you got the 3 legged WB Pinto!
  18. FIVE, I read it and it made me wonder, why all the nit picky restrictions? I have been to Canada many times over the years...that article put a halt to some plans I had for next year! Heck it's easier to go back and forth to Mexico! Carl
  19. Chris, what length is your rig, Class A, C or B?
  20. Nor do I. Wayne, yours is old, the fix was not in yet! I actually have seen a RR being towed 4 down behind a Newell in Amarillo, TX. 18 month's ago!
  21. dcotop. Welcome to the FMCA Forum! Glad to have you. Nice rig your driving and where in our great state of Texas are you working at? Carl
  22. Perhaps "Terry" needs more fish in his diet... Raw or grilled is a lot more healthy than "Deep Fried, everything"! Carl
  23. Since it's stored at home, can you plug it in to shore power or is it on shore power? You only mention NoCold on LP, have you tried Electric?
