WBill, I think they stopped making FRED's....therefore they are used. FRED had a lot going for them, like not getting clogged up on dirt or dusty roads, lighter chassis compared to a DP, the drawback was noise! Carl

Ivan. Welcome! If you signed up for electric. It will be cut off by noon on the 10th...Just use your Generator, if you want to stay overnight. The elect. is being provided by portable generators. Just remember to come in with empty grey and blake tanks and full fresh water tank...there will be a honey wagon there, as well as a fresh water truck, but it cost $$$ and you will have to make an appointment. Hope you enjoy the rally and all the seminars! Carl

You have 1366 pixel and you need a minimum of 1800. As DD said...get a new TV. Also, you would get far more responses, if you post your problem on the Forum, under electronics...not a blog. I'm here because I was checking on a friends travel plans. Carl

Ray. Must have missed the sick report. As Bill said. Glad you posted. Carl

Thetford Toilet & Rear Passenger Side Bay Water Leak
manholt replied to kentluebbers's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
Red Bay doesn't take reservations anymore, but they still have the 3 hours or less going. Tiffin does prefer you go to dealer first....When I had my Bus, I got tired of Tampa and Red Bay is a lot closer to Galveston...I'll bet you a dollar to a donuts, you have capillary action from some place on the roof or a bad window seal...which also means that by this time, you might have some wood damage...if your leak, up to you, is left untreated, your coach will eventually have mold...also delamination! Carl -
Chris. It also could be a bad caulking around your rear AC...water runs a path of least resistance, capillary action! Last year I had a bad leak also when it rained, I did not wait, I took coach into nearest shop, turned out to be a crack in the sky light above my shower...the water came out in the kitchen, under a wall cabinet.

Phil. LOL, bad to bad! Good luck. Chris 52. As Phil said. But it also could be that you need your roof re sealed all the way around where cap meets sidewall. Not knowing what year your coach is, makes it difficult to diagnose. Have you called the factory and talked to Tech Dept? Carl

In my humble opinion. Off the cookie cutter coaches of that era, pre prime rate and greed, Country Coach and Beaver where top shelf ! Carl

Thetford Toilet & Rear Passenger Side Bay Water Leak
manholt replied to kentluebbers's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
Ken. Since it's a new coach, you don't say what kind, I would take it back to Dealer or contact Manufacturer. Let them figure it out. Carl -
OVG. Welcome to the Forum! Good Luck on finding a Contessa period. If you know where to get one, please let us know! Carl

This time of year, you also have all the RV's going to Quartzite and next month FMCA pre Rallies prior to Chandler! If Ray left early enough this frozen morning, 32 in Bandera. He should be around Ft. Stockton by now! Per NOAA, expect high wind tonight and tomorrow, 25 to 35mph with gust's to 40+. Same goes all the way to Benson, AZ. Carl

KK. Welcome. There are lots of RV parks in Moab, also Monticello (about 40 miles SE. I would Google both, the only problem with Moab is wall to wall RV's and 4x4's from April on! So if you want to stay in that area, get a reservation ASAP. Monticello is more laid back and don't get near the traffic or RV's...City Park RV is a good one and a block away from golf course, south side of downtown...north side also has a RV park, just don't remember the name! Carl

Bill. It's only been 3 days and now it's Monday. He may be a worker bee or in a garage with no internet connection! Just hope he comes back with info on the cause, if he's in a garage!

Ray. Stay safe, long and boring road to El Paso! Also, there is a major winter storm, that should nail you someplace around El Paso. Black Ice is not your friend, nor high wind! Carl

Brett. Me, light and high pitched buzzer. Never had spring brake come on while moving and don't ever want to!!! Carl

Joe. Re read my post...I apologized for a double posting. I'm on Aqua Hot now, electric heat pump stopped working at 36 degrees, I woke up to 51 in coach and now I'm at a balmy 74! I don't have a separate switch for system heat, when I turn on AH it automatically does my bay's. I can leave my system on while driving, nice and cozy with it and the tile heat. This is weird, I posted an apology last night and it's gone! Carl

Apparently not, mine is 65, I guess it depends on what size coach you got! Carl
-
Tracey. Have you checked to see, if in fact they did change the water filter? Why did you replace the water pump?
-
Bill. I think they are heading home, for whatever reason...and it's probably none of our business. Carl
-
WBill, I was in at an angle and they only had to do a section that was 3' W x 12' L and replace, paint a bay door....you saw the damage! Carl

Herman, he already checked with TCC and was told, NO, by Dave Miller, they don't have a stand alone paint bay to do a whole coach.
