  1. As far as OEM is concerned, it has to do with cost of unit...adding more bling is cheaper and bling sells. Joe, how are you doing on your upper radiator hose? Carl
  2. Sorry, my bad, I missed that part. Ought to make Barkley happy! Carl
  3. Jim S. I just looked at 02' Journey...everything but a front door latch! Carl
  4. You'll find a place in due time. When things don't work out, it's generally for the better! Just a little irritation and set back. Carl
  5. RV junk yard. Surprised that WB don't have one in stock or don't know where to get it. Plasma fabrication shop. I had a rear bay door that had to be replaced, American Coach could make a new one in 6-8 weeks, the body shop that had coach, took it to a Plasma shop in San Antonio and a brand new one was picked up the next day for 1/3rd of the AC cost. Carl
  6. Ray, That will be another 550+ mile day...do you ever stop and smell the roses? Side trips? Carl
  7. You do know, this post is from 2015?
  8. shrimp. Welcome to the Forum! Good info! Maybe the OP will do that. Carl
  9. They had one on TV? BillA. I think you have done a great job with what you have...not many 29 year old coach's rolling down the highway as often as yours does! Herman's just jealous! Carl
  10. If you don't have a helper, use a long shoelace (tennis shoe) and tie onto end off where you will remove screw, tie the other end to a knob or handle, off a cabinet above! Been there, last September! Carl
  11. Ray, Alamo Fiesta RV park on Bourne, just East of San Antonio of I-10...$35 a night tax included. Real nice place, I'll be there for a Rally Tuesday. I'm currently at Sky Line RV Park in Bourne,,,i-10 to Hwy 46 to hwy 16, nice and $32 a night.... Did you talk to Cummins? Carl
  12. Joe, what do you need a colder bedroom for? You're already frozen! Carl
  13. WBill, you just lost me...what does the muffler bearings have to do with this and what are you trying to sync?
  14. Joe. That's really bad...then again I suspect it's the original hose. 15/16 years, I'd say your on borrowed time! Carl
  15. Finding a trained Tech to work on a MB truck engine and chassis is your big problem! Finding one at the factory may also be a problem. I don't know where they are building them, my guess would be in the Country Coach plant in Oregon. Winnebago is the owner of CC now. As far as response time from dealer or WB...a long time. We get that problem here on the Forum all the time! Please, don't buy it from or take it to Camping World. Carl
  16. Had bad brushes in my 10KW Onan, Part $89, Labor $920 before my 10% discount at Cummins! Carl
  17. Invisibrake is what I used, until I changed over to M&G. A jeep has a tendency to get wet, when used as built, so I had to enclose mine in a water/dust tight container ! Current setup works better for my needs!
  18. Ray. Where are you at? San Antonio? You did not stay at 65mph!
  19. tie. What made you decide on a Brake Buddy? Not, that there is anything wrong with them, just curious. Carl
  20. RSBill. His fresh water tank is a lot bigger than ours, they do that in a Prevost... Actually, everything is bigger! Carl
  21. jb. Welcome! Sounds like Jim and Kay nailed it. Normal air is 0 to 150! Brake will set if below 75 on mine, also the alarm for low air will get your attention! On another coach, I had a separation on the LR air bag and a crack in the air line going to my gauge in dash....it did the same as you described, but it didn't go to 0 while driving, it did fluctuate between 85 and about 105 as long as it was in gear. At idle it would drop below 75...so to keep going, at a signal, I would have to give some gas, in gear with my foot on brake! Thankfully I was 120 miles North of Red Bay, when it happened. Carl
  22. BillE. Are you in AZ. or home? If AZ. will you be at Chandler for FMCA rally? Carl
  23. mspector1. Welcome to the Forum! Where do you live? Where is the Dealer? Carl
  24. Probably 6am to miss the NO morning traffic and the Baton Rough rush hour! They are the worst. Carl
