  1. BillA. All I said is that I have another source for hot water while on the road...I did not say or imply that my Aqua Hot ran off the Inverter. I don't use the electric side unless I'm on a power pole !
  2. I sincerely hope that your DW is recovered from her illness and you can travel again soon !
  3. Good point ! I would go with BillA's advise on I-80 to Hwy. 191N in Rock Spring, WY. Safe travels. Carl
  4. If you have the SilverLeaf system, make sure that what you get is compatible! I made that mistake.
  5. 2,000 Volt's? Yea, that would absolutely light up the neighborhood and you! I leave my Aqua Hot off while driving, get hot water of engine. Brett is right. Carl
  6. Barry. Welcome to the Forum! Since your on Will Call, I'm coming in Monday before lunch. When you get your packet, it will tell you all you need to know! You will be directed and helped from that point on. I suggest you look on main FMCA site, click on conventions, then Chandler. You'll find a map with full information on how to come in and where to go for Will Call. It also, has an overview of the area. Carl
  7. Tom. Very good information and warning! Carl
  8. Laying down oil pipe lines, has been booming in that part of Texas and SE NM for the past 12 months, no end in sight as they now are starting to drill again!
  9. Call Legacy Coach in Rockdale, they have a Service dept. next door, called Luxury Coach Service. Carl
  10. Blake, I'm on my third coach now, with a residential fridge. 2 like yours and my current 2door. Have never had one open while traveling...like in the house, unless you pull the handle. The seals are a lot better than Norcold or Dometic! Carl
  11. What are you towing and with what?
  12. Blake. Your correct, but I doubt I'll be on Forum before the event ! If you can find the glasses after June, I expect them to be expensive. We got ours! Carl
  13. Since the day time temps are finally in the 60's and sunny, we are going to see what we can find today at noon. Have another Brett Seminar after breakfast. Most of the Diesel Club members are staying until Sunday, before going to Chandler...it's a 120 mile run, that takes 3 hours on a good day! Carl
  14. Blake. Between the floor and the fridge, you have a great looking coach. Now, when you get it home or before, have Action check to see if the top and bottom of doors latches (4) are plastic or metal ? If plastic, replace at once! Carl

    Cracked Decals

There is a really good Graphics place on main St. North side of Nacogdoches, Texas. Herman knows them...send him a PM. DD69 is right, 303 works good, but only before not after...I fought Oxidation for years on my older coaches, Never found any thing to restore, just prevent for a limited time,, Carl
  18. The AF 1 is one of the best, the other is M&G that I use, for my after market Wrangler, it works the best for me...at 60% of the price! I have had all of them at one time or another! Great buy on your GC!!!
  19. There are 2 types of aluminum rims, I have the Alcoa and they are matt, others are glossy. Blue Beacon, always asked me if I wanted the tire rim treatment, I said no! Carl
  20. Have heard, it does not matter which 303 !

    Hydralift

Kay. It's still early, cold, rain/sleet and now on my second cup of coffee.... I'm at Camp Verde, AZ. Have not seen the North side off 44 degrees, since 57 in El Paso 10 days ago!
  22. I also, used to use them and had no problems or issues. Now, I just wash mine once a year so it's easy to do at my storage! I use Lucas Slick Mist once every 10 days. Spray on, wipe off, no scrubbing required...it's as easy as drinking a beer, even in Texas Summer heat.

    Hydralift

Bet it did not last as long as my fiberglass ! It's still looking good, after 10 years of working at the ranch. We removed the back seat and welled on a platform large enough to strap a 50 gallon fertilizer tank onto, with outrigger 10 foot spray bars...we use it for weed killer also! 48V, no governor, street legal in Texas...1/2 mile of street to run, between house and the other 3 sections! In the process of building 3 more carts, need 2 for the other ranch by Dallas.
