  1. How do you get "red" type? Only red I have seen, has been from FMCA on Forum. We get normal, they get "Big Brother" Red ! Carl
  2. That explains, why you can run most any Hwy out there! I would not attempt 13 to Rifle in my current 45 foot, I don't articulate as well as you, a 18 wheeler or tow behind.! Carl
  3. Brett...it does get a tad boring every once in awhile. Especially when the OP is never heard from again! I believe we ran out of subject matter on the FMCA Food Forum! Carl
  4. I'm totally surprised that we have not been shut down, yet ! Still think the best way to sanitize the water system is HP 3% ! The cutting board, with Vodka! One squirt on board, one in mouth.. The BBQ team I'm on thought me that...we don't get food poisoning and we have a great time (hick) cooking!
  5. If we where to make hard copy of every page we have written on this, it would go half way around the world!
  6. Same here. My coach did not come with one inside. Had an LED installed and it was a + and - connection. On mine, the Tech set it to the hours on the Generator (I'm second owner), that was easy also, he used a paper clip to push in to each number, even the tenth! Changed out all inside lights with LED at same time. The meter's been going now since November 2013. Carl
  7. Hwy 789 from I-80 becomes Hwy 13 when you cross into CO, stay on 13 to Rifle, CO. that's I-70. I have taken it in reverse, had no problems with it...mostly one lane and very scenic in CO. What happened to OP?
  8. Oops! Was wondering why you got the 3 legged WB Pinto!
  9. FIVE, I read it and it made me wonder, why all the nit picky restrictions? I have been to Canada many times over the years...that article put a halt to some plans I had for next year! Heck it's easier to go back and forth to Mexico! Carl
  10. Chris, what length is your rig, Class A, C or B?
  11. Nor do I. Wayne, yours is old, the fix was not in yet! I actually have seen a RR being towed 4 down behind a Newell in Amarillo, TX. 18 month's ago!
  12. dcotop. Welcome to the FMCA Forum! Glad to have you. Nice rig your driving and where in our great state of Texas are you working at? Carl
  13. Perhaps "Terry" needs more fish in his diet... Raw or grilled is a lot more healthy than "Deep Fried, everything"! Carl
  14. Since it's stored at home, can you plug it in to shore power or is it on shore power? You only mention NoCold on LP, have you tried Electric?
  15. Sometimes things are to good to be true! Everything has to have a disclaimer these days. Too many stupid's or cunningly dumb folks out there, looking for a lawsuit.
  16. I sincerely hope you don't!
  17. Yeah, looks good. They knew how to build them back then! Carl
  18. Built after 06' forget it. Yes, there are 2009's but they where already on the line after BK filling! I would not take one after 06, if it was free!
  19. Agree! But then again, towing a Lincoln Continental behind a coach and not in a trailer, makes as much sense, as towing a Bentley 4 down! Luxury cars should be in a staker or enclosed, out of sight out of mind, trailer! That is also, probably, what the underwriters are thinking and told Lincoln to nix it...Liability issues! Carl
  20. That brought back a blast from the past...took my first DW a long time to drag me there, then she could not drag me out. I spent 2 years in Desoto, TX. at the time, population less than 3,000 and nothing but wide open country, till you got to the river. Carl
  21. gg. My best suggestion and with that many roads, most of them being secondary, I would call or write (plenty of time till August) DOT in each State you plan on visiting! They would have up to date information! Here, you will get information on it, yes...but it would come at you in bit's and piece's, also, last year, different month's to several years ago! Also, Mt. Rushmore in August...that's motor cycle season in Sturgis, good luck !
  22. I agree fully...if you look at Bill's post, and open link you'll understand why I reacted the way I did. Food Channel and Ida in the kitchen, is like a Sushi Chef coming out with a book on Cajun Cooking!
  23. My 2 cents worth. If that is the original 2 door Bronco, wish I could find one, I too would have it on a car carrier! Not only in case it broke down, but because it's a classic American 4 x 4 that is not a Jeep. I read somewhere that Ford was going to re introduce a 2018 model in the US. If memory serves me, they stopped selling them here around mid 1970's! Could you post a picture off it, not on Dolly? Carl
  24. Bill. Throw out the Cheese! Ina would love some Texas Chili with Beans and Sour Cream on top! Ugh! Yuk.
