  1. Well, for anyone else who comes along, we have answered all poss questions on AH and Oasis!
  2. We where last there in 2018 for FMCA Gillette Rally & heard about it...most things are curable, STUPID is not.
  3. Yep! Sounds difficult, but once you get the picture in your mind, quite simple! Now that I have had all 3 (AH, Vabasco & Oasis) I prefer Oasis! They are all good. However the Oasis will give us hot showers at a lower ambient temp. Joe had to fabricate a gas pre heat system for his AH.
  4. We remember 16A and those who, like us wanted to go slow, stop and take lots of pictures. Then we remember the AH who tried to make a race course out of it...we caught up to them, their big F350 crew cab had gotten stuck in one of the blind corner entrance to a tunnel...bad day for 2 couples from OK and FMCA! Alpine Inn, food was good, dessert is the real reason to go there! 😁
  5. Glenn2681. Welcome to the Forum! Safe Ride is a Roadside Assist, in the event you break down! Allstate is a Insurance company that like most, has a Road Side Assist add on...Don't know who they use, probably AAA!
  6. The 2006 HR Vacationer had Corian, no gloss! When in doubt, look it up....
  7. Try Silverleaf...My last coach was a 2010 AC Tradition 45Y, Allied (REV) !
  8. Meanwhile, back to Brett's question. OP may have a class B, C or Gas A, not a Heavy DP. Would be nice to know!
  9. Agree! Have had a lot of Corian over the years...staining is one of the drawbacks, also use a cutting board, Corian scratches easily.
  10. FIVE, just curious but why 2 different brands? 5 to 7 years is normal for DP 22.5 tires to last. Remember, the sidewall will break down way before tread wear!
  11. Lloyd and his son, does ours also at Area or National Rally's...I checked with him and he does AH, Oasis and Vabasco. As FIVE said! I have only used pre heat once. When on the road to next campground, the engine heats all the water we need for about 2 hours of use upon arrival, had that in both AH 400 and 450. I now have a double coil Oasis and found it to be the same!
  12. The biggest difference we have found between Aqua Hot & Oasis...with the Oasis, we both take showers and have plenty of continuous hot water. That, I was never able to do with any, AH.
  13. bj. Welcome to the Forum! Nothing wrong with safe ride, but as I said above, nobody brags about anything!
  14. Agree! APBA and IPBA had their own courses and was required before you could race any class power boat. One was USCG approved, the other Veritas!
  15. I took that part of 64 in 2015, good road, just go slow...It was in my 45' with toad, beautiful vista's...As Brett said & 50! Last time I was at the Scout Camp, was 1959 as a Eagle.
  16. trackside. Welcome to the Forum! You have a safe summer too and keep the rubber side down!

    Unusual tire wear

IMHO, take the bike off the coach, get a small trailer for bike, that should get rid off 90% or more of your problems. Never go by tire tread, a coach will not see the years or life span on tires, like a car...your sidewalls will brake down, way before you see tread wear! Safe travels.
  18. RayIN, we have 4 of them and used 2 as a back up when we had a ladder, the old coach was 12' 3" high, this one is 13' 4". Herman, the Airplane mode is on my computer under settings...have not been bounced off in 3 months now!
  19. 5 to 7 years, mileage is not a consideration, nor are the treads! It's the sidewalls inside and out...spiderwebs and cracking is a sign for replacing. FMCA Fleet Dealer, first, then shop around...also depends on the brand you want. Did you have the front end aligned, ck toe in?
  20. RayIN. Same with Magnum! Just awkward location for non Monkeys or short thin Orientals!
  21. Brett, could it be, it's set for the wrong battery type?
  22. Welcome. We have found that USPS, UPS and Fed Ex is about 4 to 7 day's slower since COVID-19 lock down...be patient.
  23. There's also BFG, Toyo, Hankook, Cooper, etc. All good tires!
  24. Jim, she does a lot of shopping at wilson..2 booster's (1 currently in Three Rivers), since we don't have a ladder in back, the pole dos'nt work. We both have Verizon Jet Packs, hers is bigger than mine! I have no problems anywhere, I use Airplane mode.
  25. Jim, Linda here! What are you using to watch netflix? Cell phone or wifi card? Do you have any type of cell phone booster? Just thought I would check! I have a booster but with new coach haven't found way to secure the pole to coach that has the antenna on it. We have no ladder. Also need to find a way to get the cable into the coach from the antenna to the booster inside! Always looking for new ideas! Linda
