Peter, yes I was. I've been in Inverness also. Any photo! Last there in 1976! Between 1970 and 1978 I was mostly working the North Sea and Saudi. Only a small portion of Oshkosh chassis was sold to Freightliner in 1996. Oshkosh, like CAT, got out of the RV business. Oshkosh employees over 16,000 in their various chassis plants! Peter, London-Machinery, Inc is owned by Oshkosh. They also build articulate vehicles for the RAF. All metric by the way.

In my 2007 WB Tour DP, I had 2 manual on/off purge lines, ...each morning after driving the day before, I would open each to purge, then close. I could attach a Air hose on a separate valve, by the generator, for airing up my tires! With engine on and full pressure, it would purge on Auto. Freightliner chassis. The Red is manual and auto, your front is the same as mine was, when you connect air up line, purge first then attach hose. Your Auto purge is with engine running and up to pressure, about every 3-5 minute you'll get a whoose of air. The next 3 coach's, including current, it's all Automatic when engine is running. No manual purge required...Spartan chassis, and one was on Tiffin chassis. Joe got his in as I was typing. I have my Air drier service once a year.

When the price of any item goes up, it means Demand is high, Supply is short. The people who was born between 1945-47 are retired or retiring, also the ones who are in high tech jobs have a lot of disposable money and now want to travel by RV or Boat. Flip side is, do they want a 21 year old coach? As apposed to 10 year old, high end, DP? Or a new gas/DP?

Good Day again Peter & Rayne! As you know, Oshkosh does not make chassis for coaches anymore, but they are not out of business either...have you contacted them, to see if they have any parts you might need, or find out who they outsourced the coach chassis/parts too? Since you got the Flex hose from Freightliner, they should know who supplies the the rest...if they use it on their chassis, they have to connect them. There was other coaches who used you chassis...Foretravel and the factory still work on them. A long time ago, I worked out of Peters head, Scotland and lived near by for 6 months...would love to see some today pictures! Cheers

Wayne, the shooters log is a interesting site and Have gun will travel is very concise....CA, OR and NY, better not to mess with! Other than the Uzi, what "hand gun holds more than 20 bullets?"

I would call Cummins Hot Line (24/7/365) with the Engine number, your engine could be a 2002, 03 or 04, then ask what kind and size fuse went with the Lift Fuel Pump....then call REV for location of fuse...If the Tech don't know, then call Allied (Parent Company of REV), a lot of the old info was not transferred to REV's computers! Look for HR Forum on the web.

I never had any wind noise in front, until I got my first coach with non split front window!

Since you can only use a shotgun to hunt deer in CA. Solid slug or double 00, carrying one would be legal in season! You can also take a long rifle into Canada for self protection! No matter what you got in RV, don't go thru NY State!

Yep! BFG's, Toyo's, Continental's, Handkok all come to mind.

It's all backed up, from Production to Warehouse and shipping. Then Fed EX, UPS or DHL.

Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk
manholt replied to hermanmullins's topic in General Discussion
We spent 3 days in that area by Jeep. Base Camp was in Rapid City. Took every paved & dirt road we could find that was legal to drive on! Wish we had known about Rafter J. That's a big place! On the way back home, we did the same in the Badlands. Base Camp was on generator, next to a little cafe at Sharps Corner, nice folks, great local maps! Very hot in end of July! Take Hwy 21 to 18 to 27 & drop straight down thru Nebraska! Definitely roads less traveled by coach! -
That makes it simple!

Clever. Great job. 10 days of clouds and rain and your on generator, if your boon-docking. Got a couple of friends that stay out for month's in the South West dessert. Their both on this Forum..DD69 & Bill Edwards! You might wan't to get on PM with them...they have been on Solar for years!

Let us know please, how it came out. Help someone else down line!

rb, Welcome to the Forum. I suspect a bad GFCI or a loose ground wire. 50/30/20A should have no effect, unless your using 90% of the load.

Erniee, with the acacia, do you wash it with soap & water, then use mineral oil on them?

Looking for info on National Vehicle Company to sell RV
manholt replied to jon1019's topic in Buying an RV
Dee. We all make mistakes, hopefully we learn from it. Got nothing to do with "smart"! More like "Luck of the draw". I've had several Tiffin coaches, Gas & DP, the last 20 years Tiffin has had quality control problems in the building process....2 couples we know from Houston, both ordered new 2019 coaches, a 40' Phaethon and a 45' Allegro Bus, They took delivery in Red Bay! We all went on the 60 day Canada Province tour last Summer and met up in Montreal. The Phaeton was nothing but problems and ended up in a RV garage in Halifax, NS., With 24 days left on the trip...Keith took his Bus to Red Bay for after market add on's and as of 2 weeks ago, 17,000+ miles, they are full time, no problems at all. Don & his wife was flown down to Red Bay by Bob Tiffen, was given a New 2019 Phaethon, got reimbursed for the trip he missed ($11, 300) and all their belongings! It can be a PIA, but Bob T. stands behind his product, 100%! His kids don't. We are meeting up with both couples on another 60 day trip to Alaska in June of 2021. -
Yep. Everything but real wood, Herman!

Home Depot, stair supplies, Wayfair.... If it was me, I would let Ernie do it. Reason is that it must be handled and treated correctly, you can't just get, cut and apply! My choice would be Bamboo. IMHO.

Joe, mine is a storage also! Linda's problem is what would you put in there? Now, you would have an excuse to come back to Texas...Mineral Wells is a nice town.
