  1. Rich, Air leveling HWH, both stationary and in motion! If I need higher or lower, while doing 20 mph or less, just press on button or press STD for normal ride height. I also have a separate control panel for HWH Jacks autto/manual. Bill, yes! Probably one size up.
  2. My coach weight is 61,000+/- lbs, it's including my 4,400 lbs Jeep, GCWR is 69,000 lbs. 600 HP & 2050 lbs of torque, Alison 4000! So far, great match up...going to Ruidoso, NM Sunday and get a better feel for how it does on long climbs. Later this Summer we head to Glacier NP & Oregon...I'll post how it's doing. I set CC at 64 mph! 3 months ago, I had a AC Tradition 45' with 450 HP at 1,250 torque, same problem as Joe on long grades...weight with Jeep 58,000+/- and GCWR of 61,000! In my 53 years & 18 Coaches, I have never wanted one that was a hot rod or sports car!
  3. JEAUTRY. Welcome to the Forum and thank you for your service! 😀 I have no idea...but there are other Retired Vets on this Forum that will be along by 7 pm!
  4. RayIN, just looked at your Allison Link...the 3000 has a max capacity for 1,750 torque, with a torque converter! Not listed. The ISM 380 engine put out 1,700 Ft Lbs and used the A3000!
  5. Mike, leave wife in coach, all you got to do is downshift & maintain RPM's! Happy wife/happy life!
  6. Rich, I'll get it, they are really big! Found everything but...2 Bilstein gas-pressurized in front & 6 in rear, no info on air bags! GVWR=54,000, GCWR=69,000. Herman, my bags are way bigger than anything I have had before, would not even attempt to remove one!
  7. Ross, whatever works & back then, they still had good people!
  8. I found mine, in my last coach (American Tradition 2010), under the dishwasher in a 2" x 4" x 2" black junction box! The Sealand macerate elect is 15 amp for Sea and 20 amp for land (RV)! My fuse kept going bad (15 amp), then I read about it and used the 20 amp, no more problems. My old boat, a Laguna Cat had the same system, because it can flush with water or dry, I called the new owner and he checked and it was 15 amp! I sold the CAT & mooring to him, in 2009. I'm now in the process of finding fuses in our "New to us" coach, 2 months old. Same toilet's, just newer/better!
  9. Herman. Sorry, but I beg to differ. Only one used coach dealer in my life, has been up front with, "this is what's wrong with the coach, that we know off"! No more a general rule than a used car lot. CW suck and anyone who buy's a new or used coach from them, have to be on top of their game or get hurt bad! Back in the mid 1990's to 2008, it was not that way, I bought 2 coaches from them, along with after market add on's, and replacements...never a problem! Then Marcus Lemonis came along and everything started going bad! Try PPL instead.
  10. Richard, Big difference between your 32 foot, gas coach and a 40 to 45 foot DP! Both Joe/Herman is dead on!
  11. Robert, Did you find the 20 amp stab in fuse, in your trouble shooting quest? Jim. If you have the same system in your boat, it will be a 15 amp!
  12. Do you have a valve in the bay, to turn on and purge the air system of moisture? Or does it purge automatically....if it's auto you'll hear a whoose sound, from the back of coach, when it's on idle! Have you had your "Dry Air" filter replaced? If not, do it. The only time the coach dumps the air is, if your going to level it by Jacks or Air (if you also have that system), not when you apply "Air Brake" (Parking Brake)! Do you have HWH, Lipper "Power Gear, or Atwood leveling System?
  13. Is that Dicore or Rubber? Have no idea what EPDM is. To many types of roof sealants out there & as Herman wrote!
  14. Joe, Mike's coach is not a side radiator, that does make cooling an issue! When I had the 2007 WB Tour, it was rear radiator with a ISM 400 and cooling was an issue on hills and hot days.
  15. Have been everywhere in that part of FL. never Pine Island. Reads interesting, small RV park! When are you going?
  16. As usual, job well done! Mine are good, but I'm going to have shocks look at...too much lean on tight corners. My AC was on the Spartan K-2, nothing moved in coach while traveling. This is the K-3 chassis and everything moves!
  17. Mike. Joe L. told me a year ago, "don't go by the HP, go by torque!" So, my current coach is 600 HP, torque is 2050 ft. lbs. The new 605 HP is scaled back to 1950 torque...suppose to be better MPG. Not according to several friends that has the 605! Their getting an avg of 6.7 MPG against mine at 7.3 MPG ! The ISM 450 that Bill has now, puts out much more torque, than the normal 1,200 torque, that you get on a Series 400 engine! Mike, I think your getting 850 torque. I don't know how much your coach weight.
  18. Rich. Your quite right. Most Q & A, that we get today, was covered in another tread 2 - 10 years ago and makes it worthwhile to cover again! Nobody want's hot skin and be lit up like Christmas from touching your own RV.
  19. U Tube has several how to movies, just enter in "replace window seals".
  20. Eric, I re read everything. All your parents wan't is a round trip ride in a RV...you on the other hand do not wish to make 2 R/T, so you figure to make some cash by renting it out in FL., nothing wrong with that, but as txtiger said, Park models rent, not Class C or Class A coaches and I don't think your parents want to move from their current unit into a coach...I would not and I'm 77!
  21. Agree, the bathroom toilet comes to mind. Not like at home!
  22. We are listed in 78611 zip code & get local stations in NE Texas, SLA, none in Houston/Galveston area and anywhere 100 or more miles West on Zip Code or NW, forget it.
  23. Ericfc L. Welcome to the Forum! 😀 Interesting question! Since your going to use the coach for Summer/Fall, I would buy a used one that suits you, but at the same time will satisfy your parents needs. Will your parents be spending most of their time in the retirement center? Eating in coach or RC? Whether you buy a used 34' Gas Class A, or a used Diesel Pusher, all depends on what you can afford. You rented a Class C...that also might be the way to go, they come in 28' Gas to 45' Super C Diesel.
  24. If battery sides are slightly bulged...time to replace or at leased have them bench tested...It only takes 1 dead cell.
  25. Or do as DD69 recommends, Why?" Only know one other on this Forum, who is an expert on this subject.
