  1. lon1019. Welcome to the Forum! Did you advertise your coach for sale? NADA will give you the high/low wholesale and retail of your coach! Anyone who sells your coach/ or buys is going to take their % off the top! You can call or mail FMCA to see if they are a Commercial Member. Seller beware, just like buyer!
  2. Last owner went to Canada, we got one also. Purchased at Canadian Tire Store!
  3. Dirty. lose or bad ground/wire connection! You/I have been there before...Remember Adam's Prevost, 24V system?:
  4. I like to set the tripometer each time I fill up, on any coach, gives a much more accurate reading and after a while you can see the mileage & know when to look for fuel. Herman, I will have fun with fuel, between here and Tucson...have no idea what this coach gets in mpg at various gears and speed, also there's the 200 gal. fuel tank!
  5. Just trowing something out...you mentioned Lift Pump. Could it be a bad controller? Or lose wire at that junction?

    tires.....

wgiff. Welcome to the Forum! Need some info. Make, model, year, length of your RV...How many Bridgestone's do you have?
  7. I would very much like to know what brand it is! I was not in the US much, between early 1969 to 1973. I sold my 1967 WB in 1971 and bought a new Llando in 73, so I missed a lot of funky brands. He don't need chap-stick, needs a big tube of Hemorrhoid cream!
  8. Ralph, Welcome. Depends on how long it's been on and what condition it's in..the more pits and nicks, the longer it takes...there's a reason why most professional removable shop's charge an average of $2,500 to remove!
  9. DB. In a perfect world, Herman/Brett, is correct. The Tradition, I had up to 2 days ago, took 127.7 gal. 2 years ago and I was on generator that never shut down, on a 150 gal fuel tank! Go figure!
  10. This unit is on another post on the Forum...about 4 years ago, we went around and around about it. There was brands in 1969-73 that pretty much looked the same. I think the raised roof is an add on by owner, most models back then was on a Dodge chassis and engine, but there was exceptions! I would send the picture to the FMCA Motorhome Museum in Elkheart, IN. Almost looks like a forerunner to the GMAC ! It also could very well be a home made coach...lot's of people was building their own back then and even earlier!
  11. I take it you also replaced the little red wire on the isolator?
  12. Only if you have proof of employing them, with min. Room & Board.
  13. Herman...Burnet? No. County? Yes. On avg 20 to 25 a week! Why? Lot of construction, road expansion, landscaping for multi million dollar homes in and around Horseshoe Bay & new ranches in the 320 acre to 640 acre size, sold by 10,000 to 17,000 acre old ranches! Wayne. Only once on 3 humans...Gary, IN.
  14. Don't think that's got anything to do with BBQ! LOL
  15. Good question! Both Linda & I had to give over our PP in Marble Falls, Texas....ICE is very busy in our part of the State!
  16. 1. Never seen a 5'er that small. 2. Why double axle? 3. Photoshop?
  17. Never had my DL scanned going to Canada. All States DL has a small star on it now...I had my passport scanned when I re-newed my DL last year! Fed mandate. Has nothiing to do with carry permits.
  18. Don, just make sure it's set high enough not to drag at ride height.
  19. Welcome! I use zip ties for ladder, since I don't climb any more! I also hang mine by suction cup on inside of front window, when parked. Happy trails and tales...hope you can make a FMCA Rally soon! Great seminars and nice folks to meet.
  20. I guess we where lucky that all the LEOS we saw was either blind or looking away! We had one at a fuel stop, that came over and asked me to shut off my engine and generator, I did. Linda asked him why? State Law. Then he just walked away! 😎 Ken, I'm sure there are plenty of horror stories in regards to harassment, based on License plates! 4 days later, we was pulled to the side for inspection before proceeding into Canada, they did not believe us, when we told them that all guns & ammo was back in Texas...I forgot about my Life Member NRA sticker on back of Jeep! Yep, we got the dog in coach and 2 officers, then a third person in a suite came over to me and thanked me for being a Shriner and building a children's hospital & burn center in Toronto, he went to coach and 5 minutes later we where headed to Montreal...the last info we got, was that a long gun and/or shotgun was legal to bring for personal protection!

    Dead Battery

On your control panel turn on your inverter/charger if on 50A, it will then also charge you start/house batteries! If you don't want to wait 60/70 hours, then get a HD Charger and see if you can start engine by boost. Best to have a charger, that runs on elect, not battery.
  22. bfrisbee. Welcome to the Forum! 😀 Nice looking coach & setting! Make sure to brush off your awning and slide awnings, before you pull them in for departure.
  23. Sorry, but there is no normality in your situation at the time! It say's "to the nearest authorized service/garage." I doubt that your garage, at your house, is a authorized garage. I wish you good Luck in your future travels!
