My biggest irk right now is, why where all of us who paid in good faith, not given the opportunity of choice, a certificate or a refund. At 77, there is no guarantee that I will be around to use the certificate or want to! Do I wish for FMCA to make $$$ on my money? No! I want to make the 10% interest.

I like your thinking! I would suggest pig wire fence, not electric. No dogs needed, just sign's and a barking recording that comes on sporadically for a few minute's. We have both real and fake cameras with a smiley face. Some sign's in back of property, that say's "You can't out run the Bull" in 2 languages! One at the second gate, that say's "Your in range"!

With all due respect for the EB and our President...I personally think they could have waited another 40/60 days in regards to the 102nd convention! The odds are in favor of eradicating most of the Coronavirus by then! Like SAREs and the others, it will probably never go away entirely, but rather become dormant for an undetermined period. They, the Dr's and Scientists, already know that Hot, Dry weather will kill the virus and Cold weather will make it Dormant.

If most of cold air is blowing out, not in to coach. May I suggest, it's way past time to clean the filters!

Thanks Herman I passed it on to all members of Lone Star! -
Good Sam Club being discontinued?????

Wayne, Ray. Don't know if that list is good anymore, since the Daughter of the Founder now runs and owns it...her husband is President. -
Rich, in 1990 Cummins sold 27% of it's Stock to Kubota & in 2010 stopped making Onan engines! Interesting to note: Dodge Ram trucks, first ran Kubota engines and then changed over to Cummins...another note: Kubota is a revers injection engine and LOVES to eat glow plugs!

Ray, you know there is no such thing as a "Silly or dumb thought" in this game! You and Herman, spot on, don't blow any line unless it's not attached at either end. His carb is not gunked up, since it works fine when warmed up, just has problems when cold...If it was me, I would remove carb and install a new one. Then take the old one apart.

Yes, it came by here first, no SNOW, but left 4.1" of rain in the gauge, then 3 days of pea soup fog & drizzle!

Good Sam Club being discontinued?????
manholt replied to woodworker414's topic in General Discussion
Lifetime to most of us, is ours! I have saved a Ton of $$$ in not having to pay dues, I'll get my card later it's in the coach and it's raining, I think it was 1984. Became a member in 1967. Same year as FMCA. GS got my name, since I sent them a check, before I left for a job in Europe...FMCA got my wife's name, she sent that check! Old fashion thinking, when your married, you should have the same last name! 😡 -
Mike. The other great loss, has been the cancellation of the Blue Bonnet Festival for this year! 😢

Nan, it's been a long time! Hope your staying out of harms way & have plenty of goods on hand to prevent getting the Coronavirus! Are you still off the grid?

Remote temperature sensor problems
manholt replied to donaldrfiske's topic in Systems and Appliances
Is there a separate sensor for bath/bedroom? Where are the registers located in relationship to sensor/sensors? -
I well remember taking the Holly Carb apart & cleaning...The days of KISS in engines, is long gone now! On a gas Gen it's still fairly simple, look it up on the web...plenty of films. As Rich wrote, remove and cut filter to see what's been trapped. Microns of rust/dust will make a carb useless!

Or too much Ethanol in the gas, it deteriorates rubber and seals, just like to high a Bio mix in diesel.

As Richard said. What does "Pause" mean? Marcus has changed the Logo twice in the last 8 years! Why bother at all, if you plan to close it? I'm both a charter member & Life member! -
We just had this problem, the ground wire was cut 1/2" to short...we just replaced it with a new wire and kept a 2" loop in it.
-
A very hard call to make! I guess it boils down to "How in Love" are you with the 07' CC? For the cost of engine & Labor, I would be looking for a "new to me" coach & put the other one up for sale for parts!

The longest coach trailer combo I have ever seen, was at the Houston Livestock Show BBQ cook off. A custom built tractor/trailer/trailer combo off 143'...full living quarters for 12, totally self contained, you could walk from tractor to back trailer, both trailers was a complete BBQ unit...each unit could feed 2,500! It was built and owned by Shriner's International (at that time it was Shriner's of North America) to cook and feed the first responders of 9/11/01.

Marcus is known to buy, gut and spin off company's! This virus is an unforeseen fly in the equation and could easily do as Jim suggests! I doubt CW would go to total Bankruptcy...reorganization is probably more likely. Remember all the times American Airlines did that. -
Rich. He certainly has enough power in that Generator to run anything he wants! 😂 F375818, glad this came to a good ending for you! Stay safe and please come back to forum.

Yes. I would be looking for a replacement engine at salvage yards first. Agree 100% with Brett.

I'm on your curve also! One interesting thing, I have TMS on all tires & a separate valve for airing each tire! That's a first...

When I was last married. I went thru that on all occasions, including, go change, your clashing with what I'm wearing! Since I'm not married, I've not heard that from Linda, but suspect it's right around the corner, as soon as the M word is reality again! I at least don't have any ties, now I use a Bollo!
