  1. Sorry Pooh, no sympathy from me! As with any ERA, you have your obligation, they have theirs..you deviated, therefore you pay! You made the deal with the tow company, not ERA.
  2. Tim, Welcome back. My coach & Toad comes in at 64' 3"...last Summer we where in the States you mentioned and that was not the first time, no problems! I know a lot of people that live in those States and others, that has combined lengths of 70+ feet. Go enjoy the country and don't worry about it. 😀😎
  3. Any other DC powered systems not working? You might have tripped the "Sales Man" Switch! Mine is a toggle switch, just inside door on Co-Pilot side.
  4. Bruce, I found it..July 23, 2018. 44' Renegade by kibbi...
  5. bm, I was thinking that you posted a picture of it, on the Forum, a couple of years ago...was not sure! That's an awesome RIG!!! 😁
  6. Bill, I know a couple of places that has what you need & big enough, getting access could be tricky! One place is in Burnet County!
  7. Bill, grit your teeth and let them spend $$, the motor for awning and labor is a couple of grand, been there! Your eating away at their over inflated profit margin and you will, one day, drive out with a great rig for the $$$.
  8. Linda just transferred her GS over to my coach...Her DP is being fixed, then for sale. Kay. Had he said so, in the beginning, we could have been done with it. What I don't know, will GS or anyone cover the tow cost of a rig with 2 drive axles? That would take a HD Tow Truck!
  9. I have seen Totters and Super C's with 10 tires, 45+ foot with enclosed car carrier...But I'm still confused about the need for ERS, unless you just feel more comfortable with it while traveling! Don't look as if Dan is getting back anytime soon...so why not renew with GS or call Coach Net?
  10. If it passes the test drive, take a look at the tires sidewall & DOT number. The coach is a 16' but the chassis is probably a 15' or 14'. If the tires are 5+ years old, you'll have wiggle room for further negotiation on price! Any cracking or spider webs, you may need new tires...rule of thumb is 5-7 years. 6 new tires, $3,000 -- $5,000 depending on Brand & size!
  11. Real nice! All you need is a 24 hour window...depending on where in PA your at. If your in the mountains..good luck!
  12. bm, OK...so why do you need ERS to get it down & going...am I missing something?
  13. Ray, Agree and one of the best wall's was the FMC...look it up, I had one in 1980. 96" wide then...Another was the Avion.
  14. Linda's unit is shot. Has all the above, we replaced the in line fuse at mother board, 250/5 amp. Our friend is ordering an Amish unit, with labor $2,000. He and his Tech's have done hundreds of the 1200 over the years...after that, coach will be for sale! My coach is also in his shop for some work..my coach looks forlorn, among 9 Prevost's! Herman, mine will be in Coffee Creek, Wed.
  15. Woodster. Welcome to the Forum! IMHO, one should first have corner to corner weight, proper tire inflation to the traveling weight, alignment, caster and toe checked and adjusted, before any add on's! Safe-T-Plus is a good thing and so might be more heavy duty sway bars..the rest is BS. You have a WB, so you should know these things...A DP is a much heavier coach than a gas unit and should track better in cross wind and when trucks pass. I think "Over kill" on owners part. My coach weight is 54,600+/- on the road and there are times that a big truck will pass me and I feel it, 40 mph cross winds will do the same. I have nothing added to my coach! Have had 16 other gas & DP's over 53 years...only add on was Safe-T-Steer, since they came out. In 1967, there was nothing to add available for my 67' WB !
  16. That's a bummer! Are you going thru your bank or one of theirs?
  17. How did you get it on blocks?
  18. Ray has a New coach to move into! 😁 We are back at the ranch..32/24 clear sky. Tomorrow back to 65+!
  19. We and a lot of other's on this Forum, was there before and after the Chandler, AZ...FMCA winter Rally in March 2017...Lots of snow and beautiful. Since we are going to Tucson next month, we will probably do it again!
  20. Glad it took you 5 years too come to a decision...Now, please enlighten me on what has not gone up in cost, over the past 5 years of your membership?
  21. We now have camel jockeys/young punks/ NAFTA drivers from Mexico...ZERO manners! They also like to cut back in with a foot to spare...I try to anticipate it. 😡
  22. If you replaced one with a Samsung Residential...your now in the same boat, no parts & nobody will touch it. Reason is that Samsung was bought by a Chinese company!
  23. Wayne, yes it's generally 10 degrees difference between Burnet Ranch and the camp- house (we have to call it something). Joe, you could stay in Camp house or bring coach, we have 3 full HU. 😁 Right now, I don't think there is anyplace in Texas that feels over 40! We are on Galveston, Island and it's COLD!!! A friend in Corpus said he had feel like 31, we got 28 and Burnet is at 21. I listed my house again yesterday, effective Friday. We head for Burnet this morning...Brrrr!
