Ok, I cooked dinner tonight with it. 4 chicken breasts dusted with parsley, garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper (both sides). 2 TBs of Olive, set to brown lightly seared both sides of the chicken, poured 3/4 can chicken broth into the pot and 1 can of Cream of Chicken in. Set to high pressure for 15 minutes, timer went off allowed it to sit for an additional 5 minutes, vented, opened and served over Light and fluffy egg noodles with a side of steamed Broccoli. It was delicious!!

My friend pulls his toad with a dual receiver hitch adapter. His rack sits around 12” above his tow bar and the car clears the rack when turning.

The RV versions are very small inside, much smaller than the apartment type above. I removed ours, absolutely useless, You could only wash 1-2 pairs of jeans at a time. I understand why his DW wants the type photo'd above. If we had the room, one of those would be my only choice. I really don't want this post to drag much farther into Washer/Dryer set ups as its drifting from the original post of "Recommendations for DP Brands" I think we've covered Tim's concerns that his DW has expressed. Tim, as a rule for pricing, I went with low NADA and dropped 20-25% off of it to establish a base price that in my mind was a good price to begin negotiations with. I am glad you have the patience to keep shopping and are not jumping into the first coach that shines. Is there any other particular must haves for you and your DW? The reason I ask someone might know of another manufacture or model that has what you want to help narrow down your searches.

We went through the same with our coach 5 years ago. Ours were the incorrect size and load range that were installed by the RV dealer, talk about NO attention to detail that could have resulted in an accident.

Not sure of what you mean by stacked so I thought I should clarify, this is the type I am referring to (Apartment type). Not the two Splendid's stacked, they do not hold enough clothes to make it worth wild to have IMHO. The Newmar's we looked at had the type below in the photo. Carl, you haven't spent a quarter on laundry, so you don't use detergent?

Volcom, any reason you are not going to run the stock tire on the coach? Wider tires on narrow rims present a hazard and will often cause the tire to crown in the center. I may have gotten lost somewhere in all of these posts, sorry if i'm mistaking. If you are changing the wheels then id say go for it, the Dura-Bright wheels we have at work are fantastic! Just make sure you get the correct offset to allow for steering and dual wheel clearance so the duels do not "kiss" while traveling.

Tim, Newmar makes a great coach, so does Country Coach. One observation, when we were shopping a few years back, stacked washer/Dryer units were in 99% of the Newmar products (the other 1% of the Newmar's had the closet for it, no unit). I do not recall seeing any stacked units or space for them in any other manufacture. I fully understand why your wife wants that set up.

Minus 5 this morning when I left for work at 5:45am est. 17 when I left work at 4:30pm. There is so much salt on the roads they are covered in a gray/white powder. I sure hope Chevrolet’s cabin filter is working well, it looks like you are driving down a dusty dirt road. You can't tell where to be cautious for ice since you can’t see it. My blue car is only blue on the roof, rest of it is gray/white. I saw somewhere today 47 days until spring, at least that’s one way to look at it positively.

We have a Cooks Essential oval pressure cooker at home. I have to be honest, I've only used it 3 times in the 4 years I have had it. It would be a good edition to a RV for one of the newer versions which are smaller. Why not, I already carry a smoker and two grills I guess I really need to learn how to cook with it and master that art. A cookbook would probably be a good investment for me.

Herman, his awning had a beehive caught up inside causing the awning problem that was thought to be all electrical problems after a battery replacement. That’s definitely a new one for the books!

YUP, if you do it you might want to pick up a portable one ASAP, id be worried as to why your failed. Sometimes it just happens but you never know! Just make sure the coach is unplugged, inverter's are off and if you have auto start on the generator, make sure its disabled.

Roland, the exterior models are designed to get wet. I have one that is designated to the box at the house. Its been out there in rain and snow for going on 5 years now. Our coach had one hard wired, when it failed of course it ruined a portion of my day and that was when I decided to go portable. I tried to bypass it, wires were too short! Several Home Depot trips and one ugly wiring mess to look at for the remainder of the trip we had power again. I just had my Progressive portable unit go out this year camping, I called a local RV dealer, bought a replacement, with in 1/2 hour we were back up and headed out for the planned excursion that day, much easier to deal with a failed portable unit than a hard wired unit in my opinion. I carry the one I bought that day and the replacement Progressive unit now as a back up. When you are a part time RV'r every hour counts, before you know it your on your way home mentally preparing yourself for work . Did this get wet from your previous water leak?

YUP, 34 above and no sign of spring yet!
