A rainy day? ☺️ $10 is chump change. I have no problem with it. The board acted. Some of us are riding around in RVs that cost more than most homes do. Not us, though. We are low rent, with our 2003 Phaeton. 40 miles of diesel fuel burned equals $10.

It is marked for 18 wheelers that way in the Motor Carrier's Atlas.

$10 will buy me two draft beers at a nice establishment, if I am lucky. ? Long live FMCA.

No need to call in your location with Direct TV. We hit the power button on our interface box after leveling the coach and the Winegard Traveler on the roof locks onto the three satellites , usually quickly. There are no local channels when you are out of your home area. You can spend extra $ to get the major networks on an east coast or west coast feed or just endure inferior park cable for the big four.

A few days ago, the couple next to us at Swan Bay Resort told me that Thor has acquired Entegra. They were disappointed because they know Thor's reputation and they own a gorgeous 2014 Entegra Anthem 43 footer.

Arrived this afternoon for a 17 night stay. This is absolutely the best park that we have visited. It is brand new and we have a clear view of the bay, the St. Lawrence River, and the ship channel which is approximately 1/3 of a mile away. Have already see two Great Lakes ships pass by and we are still settling in. The pads are large, level and concrete. They can easily accommodate a 45 foot unit. The power pedestal, water spigot, and sewer dump are all gathered together and surrounded by concrete. If you want a really nice park with a nautical setting, this is it.

Best Rt Estes Park Co. To Durango Co

Herman forgot to tell Jim Gilmore about Laveta Pass. It turns into a hard pull before you top out at a little over 10,000 feet, but the descent into the San Luis Valley is gentle. Piece of cake even for fraidy cats. Have seen herds of Elk well off the road in the late afternoon. The San Luis Valley is the largest alpine valley in the world. At 7500 feet and up, the nights have always been cool in the summer months when I was there, and I was there a lot. Loaded salad spinach all summer and into the fall. Lettuce and organic carrots ship late summer. Potatoes ship from the fall all of the way through the winter. Speaking of winters/ bitter. I have seen 12 below early winter. Record is at least 40 below. Keeps the riffraff out. Before we changed plans ( a big mistake ) and decided to stay east, Alamosa was going to be our first stop in Colorado. I hope we make it next Summer. -
I have run centramatics on trucks for years. No problems. Quite happy with the results. When I decided to put them on our Phaeton I called them. Person I talked to was very helpful. Bill, maybe the guy is a newly hired pinhead from somewhere other than Alvarado. They are a little pricey, but they can be transferred to another unit if they will fit.

Best Rt Estes Park Co. To Durango Co

Estes Park to Durango but don't want to drive in the mountains? It has been claimed for decades that 74% of all land in the US above 10,000 feet is in Colorado. Skeptics are now claiming that it it is only 56% because Alaska and Hawaii weren't states and GPS did not exist. Let's deal with those numbers. I have misplaced some calculations done awhile back so I will go from memory. All of Colorado's mountains exist in the area west of I-25. I remember my calculation to be somewhat below 2% of all land in the 50 states. Old retired trucker that loves mountains and the roads that get me there. -

Probably confused you with me because you spell like a trucker?. -
Jeff/ what was the name of the tire dealer you went to. Might help others in the area with problems.

At over 70 pounds apiece, I would not attempt a change out either. Will be 72 in 9 days. Herman is the weight lifter?.

I recently read that there only three heavy duty battery manufacturers left in the US. East Penn Manufacturing is the one in Joe's backyard. Deka is one of their brand names. They make batteries for other labels or companies. Exide, located in Georgia, I think. Don't remember the other one, if there is one. Using lead and chemicals in manufacturing batteries has to be an extremely expensive process. Liability and government regs. When you buy, do you know who really made it? Johnson Controls is doing some lithium stuff. Check East Penn's website. I think that they build and market an AGM called the Intimidator.

We use Worlds Best cat litter. Yes. That is the name. Big chain pet stores carry it. It is expensive when compared to popular brands , but it lasts a long time and no odor. We clean the litter box every time they use it. Sets right out in the open. My wife has a keen sense of smell. Me not so good anymore. She swears there is no odor. We scoop the waste into a brown paper lunch bag and then place that bag into a plastic food bag, tie it with a twistee, and place it in trash can. Takes about a minute. Let the waste accumulate before cleaning and creat a problem for your nose.

We owned and loved dogs for forty years. Last one passed Nov 2013. We now have two cats that are good companions, and I am not walking them on late chilly and sometimes rainy evenings trying to get them to find the perfect spot to poop or pee so I can go to bed. As I write this , Woody, our 15 pound brown tabby is curled up next to me. His likeness with the orange nose appears on cat foods and treats regularly.

We travel with two felines. Guess they are living low rent now. Good looking accomodations.

US 50 is curvy from Canon City to Salida, but fine for large vehicles. The speed limits are low in places for a reason. There are passing lanes for traffic behind you to get around. West of Salida just past Poncha Springs the climb begins to Monarch Pass 11,312 ft. Or thereabouts. The highway on that stretch is all good. Exhaust brake or Engine brake will be very helpful. I like the KOA in Gunninson because it is near the airport. Enjoy watching the occasional take offs or touch and go s , by Air Guard AC-130s. It is not a busy airport. Some good eateries in town.

Five gallon plastic bucket with a bag liner and a lid. The bag liner allows one to reuse the bucket. Those were the days my friend. We thought they would never end. Mary Hopkin. But I retired. ?

Yes. We pack it all into usually 2 1/2 months. We can't keep ours in the driveway, hooked up, refrigerator running, provisioned and ready to go. Wish that we could. Our coach is kept in a gated storage yard 8 miles away with no hooks.

Took nitehawk's advice. Bought the only roll at the local Home Depot that could get it done. 48" by 25 feet. $41 and change plus tax. Cut it down to 43" x 112". The rest will supply a shade for my F150 that sets a lot and shades for both Subarus. Will probably have some left. The sun was roasting today. Noticed an almost immediate difference when I put it in place. We were there cleaning and provisioning for a late July departure. Generator really humming as both A/Cs were on. A significant help.

NC to Pueblo/ I 40 best choice. I -70 to Pueblo from central NC, in order to see the Arch is a longer way and a very boring ride once you redirect to Pueblo. More miles also.
